I bought this for my son who is going to camp this year. I wanted him to be able to record some memories with his friends and capture the beauty of the forest. I know my son well enough to know that he might lose it so I didn't want to spend a lot. This is definitely budget friendly, but it is a much better camera than I expected and it came with extra accessories. The set includes a tripod, a carrying case, and an extra battery. The attached microphone has a cover to protect it from the wind so it's a great choice for the outdoors. It's very easy to use and the picture quality is better than I hoped. It even has a zoom feature.

This camera should have been Ok for recording a few open mics.....but so far I have attempted to do so on no less than 6 occassions and it has yet to give me any good, usable video. The battery goes dead very quickly, it's hard to change any settings, I am sorry I purchased it. I thought for just under $100 I could get something sufficient to do these little videos, but I was wrong. I'd love to get my money back and I have learned my lesson....cheap is cheap.And it just gets worse, this camera is horrible. Video with NO SOUND......even though when tested earlier, it was fine......And worse still...not sure why I keep trying....but....it only exports to .AVI (audio and video) and you cannot edit it with anything and if you attempt to resave to another format....the audio distorts. I wish I could get my $$ back...I'd spend more to get better quality....this camera is not good in any way. Do not buy it.Oh I forgot...the tripod stand that comes with....broke the first day''don't buy this!!!!!!!!!!! I attempted to use it again. not sure why I keep trying...............When fully charged it powers off....When recording it distorts audioawful

Bought this as a birthday gift for my son who loves creating videos and wants to do some videography. He loves it! It’s super light and the charger/USB function is pretty slick. It is not touch screen, but I think it's better so you don't accidently delete or hit the wrong button. Picture quality and image stabilization work well. If you're looking for something to capture those little life moments and not spend a ton of money this camera is for you.

Bought this as a present , found out that the screen started to pixelate and blackout some spots on the LCD screen, not on the lens itself so play back is still there but it’s only a matter of time befor the LCD turns black. Going to exchange

This camcorder is the definition of "You get what you pay for". I got the camera so that my partner and I could simply vlog our vacations for our own pleasure, to have a copy of them to look back at. This camcorder is NOT high quality by any sense of the definition. But it does record, and comes with a ton of cool video settings you can play around with. (Slow motion, B&W, Filters, etc.) I like the addition of the tripod, it's the only thing that's actually greater quality then what I expected it to be. The mic quality is okay, but I can't complain since it came with the camera. Again, I paid $70 for everything and it is truly worth $70. Not for professional use at all, please splurge on a higher quality Sony camcorder if you plan on using this for anything more than leisure. This is great if you want to give it to your kids, or if you simply want a cheap camcorder that you'll use every once and awhile. I will say however, I'm having trouble figuring out the time-lapse feature. Thw camera turns off after 5 seconds of recorder, and I'm left with a still image in the memory folder. It might just be me though, will update soon. Other then that, the regular recording and the slow motion recording works fine as it should! 4/5 stars :)

I gave this to my 7 year old grandson who loves to film videos. He loved it!! Works easily and well!! Great buy!!

The zoom didn’t work

I like that it is handy and light but when operating it, it always says no SD card since I just bought new card for it. Disappointed because I have not use it throughout the concert. But the this dealer or store made above and beyond satisfactory effort to give me a new SD card that works on the camera and now the camera is working well at this time. This is what I called customer service. I give them 5 star now for making my experience very satisfactory. I highly recommend the dealer/store whom I bought this camera.
