5 ever lasting battery
These batteries last 5 ever. I've had my radios on for days at a time receiving and transmitting. Never went through a full battery. I think the most I've seen the battery level drop to is 50% roughly after 14 hours of use for 2 days. Glad I bought 4

long lasting battery
I leave my radio on all day, every day. as opposed to my other HT's that need charging every night, this needs charging every week to 10 days. In other words, I have an HT with a battery that I do not have to worry about how much charge is left.

Great battery...seems to last forever, but see my AR-152 radio review. Great radio but get prepared to get educated if you're not an experienced HAM user
