this book is amazing i own 5 of his books and i can tell you he is a genius artists and i have learned so much from him i can say his instructions are so easy to follow especially if you are a beginner. if you are more advanced i think you can still learn from him. i love that he makes his books fun to look at. the colors keep me coming back i cant stand to look at a black and white book i need color to be motivated and enjoy to learn from an artist! i would recommend you wont be disppointed!

What a fantastic book! I have a TON of Christopher Hart books and this one like the others does not disappoint. I like that this book teaches more about how to draw emotion and scenes. Usually how-to books teach you how to draw something specific, cat, dog, person, etc. This one goes beyond that and really gets your creativity going, thinking about all the fun things you can draw yourself by implementing the techniques explained in this book. Christopher Hart is such a great illustrator. I hope he comes out with more books that teach you how to draw the emotion of things as the central theme of the book.

Absolutely love this book - 100 drawing prompts for artists of all levels. I love Hart's style and he is an amazing teacher, with step by step instructions that always make sense. I first found his tutorials on YouTube then decided I needed a book or two of his. Thank you for sharing your talents with the world!!

This is a good book for thinking of things to try and practice... Easy scenes to duplicate for practicing your own techniques and skills on. It does give some minor instruction, however, I view this as a resource for an intermediate artist

Recieved package as I started my walk with my Dog, Chewbacca. I had it under my arm and was headed to a Bench to sit down and do some Plein air sketching and reading with this book. I never got to do it. As so many, Gentleman, tried to get it away from me.I do not know what the problem is that Men do not want Women to have a Cartoon Book. This has also happened with some of my other - Instruction books involving Representational drawing. Obviously, this is a wanted book in the Cartooning World and Christopher Hart is at the Top of the Must Have Instructional Books. I am now safely, inside going through My Christopher Hart book. Pens, pencils and sketch book at the ready and Left page is the Journal part of my Sketch Book to take down all thoughts, etcetera. It was great working with Yankee Clipper at Amazon.com.

Lots of great drawing ideas and suggestions for faces, hair, scenes, and other things. Unfortunately, all the female characters are the same size and shape, which is annoying and the reason I only gave it 3 stars.

First thing I opened to was a hat lady and was really happy with my outcome! Trying to do one a night! So far so good!
