Great diving computer
It is easy to configure, indications are easy to read, works great with 2 Swift AI transmitters (sidemount). It is not mention in the description, but it comes with a preinstalled protective film.

Bought this as a second/backup computer to my first Perdix 2. Have 200 dives on my primary Perdix 2 and about 80 dives on this one. Never had any issues with either. Easy integration with Shearwater Cloud which makes dive logging much easier that paper dive logs. I use the Perdix 2 exclusively for recreational diving which many would consider a waste since the Perdix 2 is technical dive capable. I picked this because of the large digits for the important information, customizable mini-screens, air integration, and user replaceable AA battery. The electronic compass works well, but I still prefer a traditional compass. The battery last around 80 dives with Air Integration for me. My dives are between 45 - 75 minutes with max depth typically 70ft. I wasted $1800 on two other computers that both failed. One after 40 dives and the other after 100 dives. So far my primary Perdix 2 Ti has outlasted both computers.

I got this based on the recommendation from friends and now I can confirm this is probably the best computer. This is a purpose built machine cheaper than the most aggressive rival, the MK3i. That being said if you are doing other trainings such as running and cycling the Garmin watch will be a much better option for you as it combines multiple metrics into a simple gauge telling you if you should dive or not among other metrics. What I like about this computer ( really trying had not to put PC in here) is that almost all the data you need to keep an eye on is in one screen and you don't need to tap the screen to get to the other ones (as is with the MK3). I am not a tech diver but this computer does give the Gas Density as well which is very important when you are pushing the limits. So: Get this and I can recommend it, if you only want it for Diving and a good reliable tech diving (Go with this not the cheaper variants of this, You will need this down the road anyways). If you are a runner and have other Garmin watches like 4runner 965 that MK3 syncs perfectly with and shares data, get the MK3.

This is a safety must for those who dive semi-regularly or below 60'. I chose this over Descent Mk3 due to it's large screen and simple 2-button interface. Love vibrating warnings too. Here are some tips: - Practice above ground or in a pool before diving with it. Go through the basic feature set. - If you are 50 or over, change the Decompression model conservatism to "High". See section 12.2 Deco Setup in the manual. - Download the PDF of the manual from Shearwater for quick searching. - Use 1.5V Energizer Ultimate lithium (non-rechargeable) or 3.7V lithium rechargeable. Never alkaline chemistry which have a tendency to leak. - When changing battery, lubricate O-rings with small amount of silicone. Just a bit rubbed gently across entire surface should coat it with a thin layer. Do NOT place them back on a threaded section of cap. Before screwing cap in again inspect o-ring for sand, grit, dust, hair, etc.

It's hard to overrate Shearwater products. I have a Teric and two transmitters that have worked flawlessly and this will now be my main computer with the Teric as a backup. Their customer service is spectacular as well. If you need a dive computer, Shearwater is an easy choice.

Bought this originally for my SE Asia dive trip thinking it may be to big... NOPE! Super happy under water! Easy to use, easy to read underwater! Switching from O2 to NOX is easy, simple scroll through the menu and BooM! Done, I added the sensor and they talk to each other right off the bat as soon as you turn on the bluetooth and there is pressure on the sensor. SUPER happy!
