Good food for baby chicks

The Extra Select Baby Chick Crumb arrived as described and looks just like the photos advertised. This is a huge bag which is great value for money and even better quality. I love that it’s broken up into smaller pieces making it perfect for small beaks. It also has a long expiry date so will last a long time. This tasty food is perfect for giving my chicks the healthiest start! I would recommend!

Chicks seem to like it and it’s smaller than some other chick crumb which means I don’t have to blend it for the first few days they’ve hatched

our ducklings loved it, started them off at about 2-3 days old all the way up to 5-6 weeks old and they certainly thrived on it growing at quite a rate. We didn't have a proper feeder just a shallow plastic tray could have done with something like a flower pot dish - smaller in diameter and deeper so they can get their beaks into it butnot so round that they can get in with it and paddle around in the crumb! You will need more than you expect!!! We are not duck 'owners' a mallard set up a nest in our mint patch first thing we knew was when mama duck and 6 ducklings appeared in the garden

Button quail loves this will buy again for the chicks

raised button quail on this ground finely. i had to add supplemental egg to the chicks diet at day 7 because quail need a higher percentage of protein. very cheap and cheerful product that works well kept 7 chicks fed and thriving, i didn't lose one which can happen a lot with button quail and insufficient nutrition.
