Easy Replacement
Love when items just work out the box. I didn’t need to program this remote or fiddle with the settings it just worked soon as I used it.

SO much better than the remote that came with the TV
My kids got me a Vizio TV for Christmas last year.The biggest problem I had was it's remote. It's just not very easy to pick up and find your way around with your fingers. This is much better.The remote that came with the TV had the volume button right below the home button. I don't know how many times I was watching something on a streaming service and want to turn up the volume, only to accidentally hit the home button and it exits completely out of the streaming service. So I have to go all the way back in, find my show, and restart it. So annoying.This remote has the home button in the same position, but the volume is to the left. I don't think I've accidentally hit HOME since. It's easy to find with my hands and I don't have to look down and take my eyes off what I'm watching to use it.Another thing is the TV comes with "live TV". Which is kind of like a simulation of old channels that come through the air. It's all streaming. But there's tons of channels and a guide and things air at certain times. It's not like I pick an episode of something and watch it. No. It comes on at 7:00pm and you have to be watching then to catch it. But there's a ton of channels and the remote has no easy way to key in channel numbers. This remote has numbers!!!Plus, since I still have both remotes, I can use the old one as a backup. We all know how remotes sometimes go missing. Having the original handy when the new one disappears helps.Still could use some more features. Like pause/play. I think by now we know that so many people use streaming services with no commercials. If you need to pause, it's not convenient. Its like you have to press this button in the middle of the circle, then that brings up something on the service, then hit it again to stop it.If I want to pause to read the subtitles or see something they're showing on the screen, it's not quick to hit pause. A Roku remote has a big pause/play button. One click does it. I don't have to hit anything twice. Something similar on this remote would really help.
