Natural smell
Doesn't smell fake. Smell is VERY strong. People with asthma, beware. It burns beautifully. I light one every day after work.

Recommended by Monastic Yogis
These incense were recommended to me by my monastic yogi friends of the Giri order. They do not disappoint. My favorite scent is basil but they are all very good. 5/5.

my review of each scent.
i'm trying as many different series/collections of different incenses as i can findand here's my review of this one. the goloka 'nature' series:12 different scents. i'll start with 'nest:' pleasant, but not a favorite of the series. rather mild. and has a leafy quality to it. like a hint of sage or something like that. also a dash of musk. id give it a 4 out of 5next is 'jasmine.' i wasnt sure if id like it. it took me a try or two of the satya brand 'jasmine' to appreciate that. out of the box before lighting it i didnt think i was going to like it. has a sour floral presence unlit. the smell of it burning is much better though still not a favorite of the bunch. medium presence. floral. airy. grassy. 3.5 out of 5'sandlewood:' woodsy. like rainforest mud but with some beach sand mixed in. forest presence in parts. medium strength. a good one of the bunch. 4 out of 5'patchouli:' i like this one. one of my favorites of the collection. i like it though it doesnt remind me of the patchouli essential oil i'm familiar with. airy. a little like a menthol cigarette hit with no tobacco and bury some flowers and spice in there. medium-to-strong presence. smells green. some musk in there. some fresh dirt. 4.5 out of 5'parijatha:' pleasant but a hair too mild. musky. woodsy. smells like night time. a bit of burning wood. not sure what kind of wood though. something strange and exotic. some orange or citrus hinting there. i like it but it is a hair too mild. 3.5 out of 5'supreme:' another that i like but find its a bit too mild in strength and presence for me. fruity. floral. happy. comfortable and relaxed. a good hippie of a scent. sweet yummy musk in there a bit. and some spice. not like hot sauce spice but spice from the movie 'dune.' kind of old and ancient. airy candy. hinting at opium. 4 out of 5'pure musk.' musky.... rather strong at times. journey through some old dried woods. sweet spices. another one with that ancient kind of air to it. 4 out of 5'basil:' by name i didnt think id like this one. but its one of my favorites. sweet air breath. dreamy. good mostly balanced medium presence. a bit of opium and spice in there. pleasant and good for the night. 4.5 out of 5now here's the incense i couldn't stand in this collection:'lavender.' strong. smells like a grandmas bathroom. i like the clean smell of soap but i dont want to inhale it in smoke especially laid on as thick as it is. too perfumy. too modern a voice to it. 1 out of 5'rose' has a rather strong chocolate quality to it. the rose is in there but you have to search through the fog of cocoa mix. 1 out of 5'herbal' i couldnt even get through one stick. very strong. too strong. and its pretty bad otherwise. at least to my nose. like burnt grass smell (and i'm not talking about pot. im talking about the grass on your lawn) and its trying to be covered with rather beefy unpleasant flowers and it just makes a mess of a scent. 0 out of 5.last is 'meditation'. medium presence. like sour flowers with some hay. 1 out of 5(the only one in goloka series so far that i'd give a 5 out of 5 to is goloka's version of 'nag champa' though its not in this collection)

Low smoke/ash natural incense variety pack
This 12 pack of incense comes in multiple scents to give you options to mix, match, try. They also do not burn off with a lot of smokiness or slash. They burn into little nubs if you will that make it easier on the clean up.

Some smells :/
Some of the scents are delightful... others... yikes! Maybe too much variety isn’t always a good thing?
