Fits midi lathe and dustright set up and collects dusts!
Fits perfect on wen midi lathe and with the step down connector I was able to connect my dust right collector to it no problem. The hose on the Dust right is a bit heavy and while it seemed to hold it just fine I didn’t want to strain the smaller hose on the lathe dust collector so I added a steel cable for a little Extra support. Excellent! Fits great with basic pen mandrill holding two blanks as well ! Performance is as expected .

Works well
I'm using this on a mini-lathe with an inflatable sanding drum. The dust right is connected to a dust extractor and most of the dust is caught. It's fairly easy to temporarily move it out of the way when changing drums. Very happy with the purchase.

Of no use to me
I work on a laguna 24/30. I fitted it with no problem but keeping it in one place is mission impossible. The "mouth" is too small. I have a heavy duty dust collector that has the normal 4" tube's. This comes with a much smaller connector. However I managed to jury rig it up and turned on the dust collector and started sanding a large bowl. 90% of the dust went everywhere with this "collector" grabbing about 10%. I have thrown it away.

A part missing.
I received this order today and after unpacking it and checking to see if all the parts were in the box. After checking all the parts against the parts list I found that the stepped plate #5 on the list was not in the box. Seeing that this plate is a essential element to this apparatus is there any way it can be sent to me?

Does an OK job
I am somewhat disappointed in the performance of this system. I was hoping it would pick up more chips than it does. It does do a good job with dust removal on spindles but the chips fly all over the place. I use a strong shop vac. I may have expected too much but I am pleased with the way it removes the saw dust which I realize that is what it was designed to do.
