I received a white, gray and red colored comping in that order. What are their respective grit especially the gray bar? Thanks

Coarseness to fine: Gray ,White and Red. That is how I use them, then Green and plain leather. I tried to check them out several times in the literature and still I am not positive I have them correct.   Color is just an indicator what the grit is actually but I am not sure there is a standard.

thank you for your question. We improved our polishing compound so it has a light-green color. It works even better than a dark-green one. You need to apply it in the same way that we describe in our eBooks. If you didn't get the stropping eBooks, so let us know and we'll send you the eBooks

Question 3

I ordered this and received white, red, and grey compounds. What is the actual numerical values of these grits? (not coarse, medium fine)

Hi there,

thanks a lot for your question. Compounds have different abrasiveness, which makes the sharpening process even easier. The white compound has 28 microns, the light-green polishing compound has 7 microns. The red compound has 14 microns.
You can use them one by one: white - red- light-green. Please don't use all 3 compounds on the same side of the leather strop. Every compound should be covered on a separate side of the leather strop.
