Ok, we went with the "inexpensive" mug rack first and it was a mistake. We sent it back because it was cheaply made, flimsy and poorly designed. What a difference this rack is! Well designed, great materials and it went together easily. The rack sits squarely on the wall and is secured by screws and anchors which are large enough to support the weight of the rack and mugs. The rack is well designed and well made. The top and bottom have supports which help make the rack rigid and solid. The finish is matte black and goes well with our decor. Overall I'm very satisfied with this rack and would recommend it to anyone looking for a mug rack.

I will start this review by saying that the finished product is beautiful, sturdy and a good value for the money. I would be lying if I said that the installation was easy breezy lemon squeezy ... it was a difficult install and to top it off, I wanted two racks hung side by side. IF you have the patience it can be a beautiful accessory for your Rae Dunn collection. The hardest thing to overcome was being able to level the rack on the wall and mark the places for the screws at the same time, 4 places per rack. For me, it was definitely a two person project. Maybe we just over complicated it, who knows. Once you have the racks level on the wall, then comes the challenge of marking the spots for the 4 screws with those areas being blocked by the top and bottom bar. I am giving this item a 5 star because after the frustration of the install, the finished product is beautiful. Thank goodness for a handy hubby and tons of patience.

This was perfect all the way around!! We set up a coffee bar and wanted to hang our collection of mugs nearby. Instead of mounting directly to the wall, we swapped the included screws with some bolts from the hardware store, a couple rubber washers, and some locking nuts and mounted directly to the side of a cabinet. It worked amazingly, fit the space perfectly, and is incredibly sturdy. 10/10 would recommend! Only con is that the rows of hooks move and don't lock into place. I assembled it just fine solo, but some might find it helpful to have another set of hands holding the bars steady while tightening the bolts that hold them in place.

This wall mounted coffee mug rack looks fantastic in my kitchen displaying my Starbucks and other coffee mugs from the places I have visited. I get comments on it all the time.

Overall this is a great metal mug holder! It looks great installed and the price tag is a lot friendlier than the one over at magnolia (which is what I initially wanted. While I was assembling it wasn't a difficult process and the instructions seemed very straightforward. HOWEVER when my husband went to hang the mug rack in the wall he had to reassemble the top and bottom rail so that the screw would fit into the small part of the screwhole for attaching to the wall (I included a picture of how the screw should fit). Basically, the instructions don't specify which is the top rail and which is the bottom, but it DOES matter! If my husband hadn't noticed it I would have gone through the entire hanging process having no idea why the rack was hanging wonky on the wall since I had followed the instructions perfectly. I imagine this is why a lot of the other reviews had issues with the rack too! The directions just need to be a little more specific. Hopefully this helps some other people hang theirs without a headache! Otherwise the rack looks great, seems durable, and is really large and holds all our mugs!

I love that this rack holds so many mugs! I’ll be adding more to it. It’s easy to assemble and easy to hang. Just be sure you get the position of the top and bottom bars correct since it doesn’t mention it in the directions. Screws easily into the studs. Looks great & feels sturdy.

I guess I got the worst one they ever made because it was bent on both sides. Couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go together without forcing the bars in until we laid it out and it was tweaked. Bought this for our cabin 5 hrs from my house and I was not boxing it up and hauling it back to UPS. Finally got it all together and hung up. Took all the pressure 3 people could push on to get the screws in it and hung up. Yes it is cute but do yourself a favor and buy one that is a welded single unit. It would not have been a big deal had it been $25!!! *****UPDATE**** Received a replacement for my original one and it went together so much better. This company cared about my experience and made it right. This is a very cute rack and is perfect size.
