Thank goodness this exists! Just like any gamer you’ve seen how limited the PS5 storage is, even by new gen console standards. So of course you’ve researched how to expand the storage - with an SSD. Installing the one I bought would’ve been easy, but for whatever reason the screw you remove from the PS5 is so tightly screwed that not even God himself could remove it. It’s either way over tightened or if you’re like me, wrestled with the thing for 10-15 mins to the point the grooves on the screw were worn out - effectively rendering it unremovable. Save yourself the headache and just get this. It’s at a great price and arrived within a day of ordering. The screw and magnet are super easy to install and I’m glad the kit has a spare screwdriver included! No hassle and fuss - made installing my SSD a breeze finally!

Comes in very handy for when ur trying to make an upgrade on ur PS5 SSD, I definitely recommend adding this to ur list of things to do when upgrading.

I like the fact that it came with the spacer needed for my internal drive expansion that it didn't come with. Worked perfectly.

Thank Goodness! If you're reading this review you with have either lost the screw or ring that comes with the PS5 while installing a SSD. . . OOORrrrrr like me ya stripped the dang screw cause for some all that is holy reason the screw was so over tightened that not even the mighty Zeus could loosen it, causing it to get stripped. And while I am not comfortable yet pressing a tap and dye with a drill to get it out. I chose to purchase this. Thankfully it arrived in a day. Allowing me to install a recently purchased SSD into my PS5 with no brain surgery degree needed. After speeding the previous day cussing and cursing the stripped screw that not even my harsh language could have removed it. Highly recommend.
