Buttercup Original Cough Syrup, 200ml

Being that this is a natural flavoured item, I have never tasted anything as horrible. It has an extremely strong aniseed type of flavour which you may like and I could feel it nippy as it went down. It was effective, but I didn’t have a chest infection just a light cough. I took 2* off for the horrible burning taste.

This is the only thing that I find works when I have a cough or cold. I used it all the time when I lived in the UK but was upset to find I couldn't buy it here in the USA. Thank goodness I found it on here so I could still get it. Postage was reasonable and items arrived super fast. Has a long expiry so I can keep it in my medicine cabinet for future use. Really great product, especially if like me you are looking for something without all the nasty ingredients.

I have bought this a couple of times, as I get sore throats all the time, so this has been great. I have been able to have a little slurp at night when I feel the itch in the back of my throat and wake up feeling okay, so far s good, last year I had already had tonsillitis 3 times by this point in the year, I haven't had it once yet this year. I don't think its all down to the butter cup but its saved some irritation at least.

This never fails to help me when I have a cough or cold. Even the taste is comforing as I remember the same soothing effects when being given this as a child. Also super impressed with the Amazon price! Much cheaper than supermarket or chemist prices with next day prime delivery too. Well done Amazon 🏆 👏 ✔

Glad I can get this in US. I’ve used it for years in UK and it’s the best cough medicine I’ve found.
