I use this every time I make a salad. I avoid the pre packaged greens so I end up washing lettuce, spinach, tomatoes etc. This thing is small and lightweight enough for making salad for 2 people. It spins and all the water stays on the bottom and you just pour it out. The greens get dried and stay crisp in the basket.

Perfect for smaller salads

I bought this salad spinner because I only make one or two servings. It works very well and easy to clean. I took off one star because it seems fragile. As long as I’m not rough on it, I think it will last. lol

I do very few reviews. If I could give this product 10 Stars I would. This holds much more than it appears or even what the description says. My husband and I are on a low sodium diet which means lots of salads. This holds an amazing amount of lettuce and makes two big salads. I'm also guilty of washing fruit ahead of time, especially grapes. I just put them in this and give them two or three good rinses and a couple of spins and my fruit keeps for well over a week. As for cleanup, I didn't want to put it in the dishwasher because I do a sanitizing rinse and dry and I didn't want to risk warping it so I just put soapy water in when I'm done, give it some good spins and a good rinse and it takes like 2 minutes. I actually bought a second one of these to keep at my daughter's house. I travel 300 miles once a month to visit her and my grandson for a week and I wanted to be sure I had it available there so that my husband could have it here at home while I'm away. If you do a lot of salads, veggies, fruits you are going to want to give this spinner a try. Plus it is so easy to store.
