ALOHA Organic Plant Based Protein Bars, Chocolate Mint, 1.98 Oz (Pack of 12)

These are the best bars! They taste amazing, have clean ingredients, and have a decent amount of protein. I wake up every morning and have one and I look forward to it every time!

Good ingredients, taste and texture are satisfying. Great for a meal replacement or snack

High fiber high protein. Takes like a York peppermint pattie to me. Great as bfast, lunch, or a late snack

Most of the Aloha flavors are very good and satisfying. The special fruit flavors have a strange aftertaste. These include the white chocolate raspberry and the new chocolate & cherry. The cherry flavor is medicinal. I recommend getting the variety box if you are trying them for the first time. The organic variety is great.

I reviewed a sample pack and can’t add anything more for the chocolate mint flavor. It just may be my favorite flavor! I caught myself thinking I need to save these so I never run out! I LOVE the Aloha bars! Only protein bars I will eat or can eat!

Clean ingredients. Yummy layer of chocolate surrounding the bar. My favorite protein bar. Best flavors in my opinion are Mint and Peanut Butter Cup. They both have the chocolate coating that some Aloha bars do not have.

I have been buying these for the past few years and thought they were "clean" and made with safe ingredients. I have recommended them to more then a few people. To my complete shock, I just saw that these bars were independently tested by the Environmental research center advocate group and most of the different flavors of bars tested positive for various heavy metal contamination such as lead, Arsenic, cadmium and mercury. I am floored and extremely upset about this and will immediately contact aloha see if they will provide me with the levels so that I can know what my family has been eating these past 3 years! I want them to be transparent but sadly my hunch is more pessimistic if they will. I see that a lawsuit was filed against aloha in California for not disclosing that these heavy metal are in there products exceeding the levels set forth by California law. Aloha just makes a very casual reference to heavy metals on the Aloha web page FAQ's to state that there bars have the lowest levels compared to other brands? What does that even mean? I urge you to simply do an internet search and see the information and be informed as a consumer as I did to discover all this about Aloha protein bars. Had I not done this, I would have not have known about these heavy metals in these protein bars! I am deeply upset about this and wonder if aloha will even disclose to it's loyal customers exactly what levels of heavy metals either have been or are still in these bars!

I've been buying this brand for a few years primarily because it's lactose free. I like the taste of the mint and fudge bars, not so much the cookies and cream. I was surprised to see the price jump recently from low 20's to low 30's. I know I can buy them in my local grocery stores for less than Amazon offers so I've stopped buying here.
