No way to get actual wind speed!
The media could not be loaded. As advertised and really cool looking!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Only issue is with the instructions. No way to get actual wind speed!⭐⭐Very interesting information about wind, convection and the Coriolis force.Lots about counting rotations but nowhere does it show how to get actual wind speed only numbers for comparison. ⭐Come on Eisco you're a science company, give us the formula.⭐ PLEASE 🙂

Great for homeschool
This a great for a simple school anemometer. We got it to replace a cheep one that came with a weather kit. The one that came in the kit from a different company didn’t spin well at all. This spun much more smoothly. I wouldn’t say it is professional grade, but it was great for watching and documenting the weather for a month or two.

Toy for toddlers, nothing holds cup assembly to stem. Bye bye in 10 knots. DESIGN FLAW . Junk .
Absurd design flaw. Nothing holds rotating cups on the stem , again nothing holds the cups on. How people can design an instrument so horribly flawed and sell it to the public without a statement like.... “this instrument is a toy, to be used on a kitchen table for entertaining toddlers. .....except if you have your window open or AC on then cups will fly off as they are not retained in any manner” . Shame on Eisco Scientific
