Harry Potter Crossword Puzzles: Includes "The Cursed Child" Stage Play

Fun, but not a true crossword book. Only one letter may intersect (which is the case in almost every “clue” in this book) leaving you to hope your answer is right. It’s more of a trivia book than a crossword book, but even the trivia isn’t correct or the clues are vague. Several of the answers are wrong, which has been pointed out by other reviewers. Deatheaters don’t belong in the creature puzzle, because they are dark wizards, the same answer shouldn’t be used several times in one puzzle, etc. Clues were random where the answer would contain a phrase that wasn’t a quote, so depending on how you phrased your answer you might be right, but who knows. I hate ever writing a bad review, but this was not a good book, I didn’t even end up finishing it.

I am enjoying the Harry Potter trivia, but so far, the puzzles are a bit simplistic

My daughter liked the book and said the puzzles were fun to do. My reason for giving 3 stars however, is that some of the puzzle answers are incorrect. True Harry Potter fans won't like that! Needs to be edited for accuracy.

Simple, basic layout but that isn't a bad thing at all. It tickled my sis that this existed and that I got it for her while she was laid up. A good gift for your potterpeople

This was mildly entertaining for a Potterhead like me, but I was disappointed, particularly for the price. They are not regular crosswords--because of the structure of the puzzles, if you don't know the answer, then you are just out of luck. There is no way to figure out the ones you don't know or that might be on the tip of your tongue (or if you just don't understand what she is asking for). The clues are long and sometimes confusing and the answers that the author is looking for are not easily guessed, and a few aren't even correct. I found myself very frustrated throughout completing the puzzles...not at all relaxed, which was my intention! Disappointed!

It was a present but loved by the person who got it.

Preent for my great nephew - he was absolutely delighted as too was his Dad!
