Incredible value for money
I bought this shift knob because the OEM one in my ND MX-5 was awful. This shift knob was super easy to install, and immediately improved the overall look and feel immensely. It is very lightweight, so if you like a heavy shift knob, this might not be for you. Personally, I don’t notice the weight difference at all. It does not get too hot or cold because of the material. Honestly, such a small and simple part makes me smile every time I get in my Miata to go for a drive.

Zero regrets
I was originally caught in between this shift knob and the Mishimoto one for my 2008 350z and I am very glad I went with the Tomei. The shift knob looks great with the rest of my black interior and it actually lines up pretty well with the OEM shift boot(you do have to adjust the zip-tie on the inside for a better fit) also I found the height to be perfect for my taste. As far as the feel of the knob, I couldn't be happier. Despite it being lighter than the OEM shift knob for the Z I prefer how this one feels a lot more, and the duracon material really is no joke. Even on the hottest of summer days in south Florida it is still cool to the touch and doesn't ever smudge with fingerprints.

Easy install and feels great
The shift knob immediately feels better than the one that came on my 1997 miata sto edition. The old knob was only held on by 3 grub screws that tightened onto the shaft where the tomei knob screws on and is a much tighter and more secure fit. Looks great and made the shifts feel more crisp although it makes the worn out bushings inside the shifter more noticeable. Only issue I had was with fedex. It showed up 4 days late and looked like it had been run over or something because there was tire rubber on the packaging and the little plastic box that it came in was broken open. I guess that means the actual shift knob is very strong but I will be only buying things that don’t ship with fedex from now on.

Great
This shift knob is great. It's a hard plastic and it fits great in the palm of the hand. I just put it on so I am not sure how easily it scratches. I was debating between the 70mm and 90mm, but I was not sure how deep the threads sat inside the 90mm knob, so I decided to play it safe and get the 70mm. It fits great on my NB Miata and sits tightly on top of the shift boot bushing. My worry was that my shift lever threads would not be able to reach the 90mm knob's threads if the threads sat too deep within the shift knob. I am still not sure if the 90mm would fit on a stock NB Miata shifter, but I am happy with my 70mm. I ordered the knob from Kreativemoto, and the order came very quickly to my door. The item came without the Tomei sticker and I contacted the seller at 9pm PST, and received a response immediately! Throughout the whole ordeal, they provided excellent communication and service. They said that they would ship out the sticker as soon as possible. I received the missing piece within a few business days. If you order this knob, buy from Kreativemoto. They will take care of you.

Great shift knob!
This is a nice knob for the money. It worked great on my automatic 2004 Forester which uses a m10 x 1.25 thread. I did have an adapter made so the knob would have a shoulder to tighten against. It all fit together perfectly and feels better than the original knob. I like delrin, copolymer, etc for shift knobs. They don't tend to get too hot which is nice.

Great shift knob
Awesome, doesn’t get hot, and is comfortable. Fits my 2004 Miata perfectly.

Nicely made, solid, but very slippery in the hand. A knurled section or cove section would probably make it perfect.
