This is a great tool. I have used it on several projects already and now can't do without it. The first project I used it on was a coffee table. Normally when it comes to trimming the ends, I would use a clamp edge and a standard circular saw or if the panel was short enough a sled on the table saw. Both work, but can be finicky to set up or just plane cumbersome. The Dewalt Tracksaw solved both of these problems. Easy to setup and dead on accuracy. Another bonus is much less chip-out on end grain cuts. The Dewalt also does a fairly good job at dust collection when hooked up to a shop vac. Much better than using a plane old circular saw. Pros; Easy, quick setup Dead on accuracy Good dust control Very little chip-out No cord to get in the way Glides smoothly on track with no slop (after adjustment) Track clamps hold tight and don't move in use Plenty of power to cut through 2 inch thick red oak Cons; Blade depth stop can be finicky to use The spindle lock mechanism is not intuitive to use Overall, I wish I had purchased this much earlier.

This is one of my favorite tools. It has plenty of power and cuts very smooth. The depth and angle marks are easy to read. It makes it so easy for one person to cut full sheets of plywood accurately.

I’ve wanted a track saw for some time but couldn’t justify the cost. Finally chose this one after researching and very happy with it. It’s easy to use and comes in a great case with foam molds so I know it’s protected from getting banged up. I’ve known several guys that opted for other brands but my favorite thing about this saw is it uses the same batteries as all my work (construction remodel) and lawn tools. Great purchase for my situation. The only consideration to keep in mind for cost is that it does not come with a track. Plan to spend another $100 for a 59”

All I can say is if you're thinking about it, don't. Just get it! I thought about it for months, and finally pulled the trigger on it. This thing is a beast. Its powerful, fast, and cuts smooth. It beats trying to hoist a 4x8 of plywood up onto the table saw and cut it. Love this piece of machinery. Great product! Very impressed.

I am very pleased with the saw, I use it more than my table saw when cutting plywood.

Amazing saw! Easy setup! Easy to use

I was told of this saw from a family member. Was a little skeptical. I am old school. Oh man I used it the other day to rip 2x8s for rim joist. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Perfect cuts every time smooth cutting. Love the plunge feature. It ran on the tracks perfectly. Precision cuts every time. I can’t believe I went without it all these years. It’s a must tool for construction. Man I had no idea how much I would love this tool. Must purchase this if you work alone. Power was incredible.

Love the saw works great. Only thing is for the price it should come in a tough case not a t stack case which isn’t compatible with the dewalt tough system. I ended up getting a Milwaukee packout to store my tools in because of this. But the saw is great just should come in a better case.
