Great product that requires no screws. The VHB tape hold is the strongest double sided tape hold i've seen. The only downside is that it is difficult to remove the red backing tape; an exacto knife helped to peel it off carefully. Other that that one minor issue, this window stay works very well!

Exactly what we needed. Be careful when installing, the adhesive is very strong. Couldn't remove it, so do a dry fit first. We've had issues with adhesive items recently, so my wife was skeptical it would be strong enough. I was recently installing new windows and tried to salvage this item but had to give up, as it was just not going to come off. We liked how easy it was too use as well. Easy to open, easy to remove for parents if we needed to.

Pros: This was very easy to install and stays put. Cons: * extremely hard to open when latch is shut (I guess you don’t have to worry about anyone getting in since mom can’t even open it). * pricey for Just 1 latch So Overall it works but maybe a little too good.

So far so good. It’s the only thing that gave me peace of mind, when I moved into my new home with toddlers. Thank you for making a lock for an outward swinging window. Good adhesion, functions well. I recommend.

Adhesive wasn’t strong at all. I tested opening the window and the entire lock pooped right off instantly.

If you are a renter, and specifically a renter of an historic apartment with irregular windows that can’t have screens or any permanent safety mechanisms, this might be your only hope. We have 110 year old windows in an indescribable style that are protected under historic preservation laws, but also still needed to make sure our windows had child-proof locks. This is literally the only device that has worked for our super weird windows. However, it’s not perfect. The tape backing is ridiculously difficult to remove— you will need to use tweezers and be very patient trying to pry it loose. The tape is SUPER strong, so you won’t be able to reposition it once it is down. Some of the locking mechanisms need a little more ooomph to open than others— there seems to be manufacturing inconsistency. Lastly, despite being listed as offering Prime delivery, the shipping is terribly slow and you can only order one at a time for some reason, as if they make them to order.

Saved my kids lives. Our 4th story apartment decided to not have any safety measures around our windows and this gave me peace of mind.

Love this safety latch. Super easy to install and gives me peace of mind with my toddler being close to windows. A necessity for childproofing windows that open outwards.

La serratura è ottima....direi complessa da aprire anche x un adulto. Funzionale e resistente. Permette di aereare un locale mantenendo la finestra in sicurezza da aperture eccessive. Gli adesivi 3M garantiscono la tenuta anche se tirata forte da un adulto. Importante pulire bene le superfici prima di applicare gli adesivi. Ottimo prodotto
