AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6-Core, 12-Thread Unlocked Desktop Processor

I have absolutely zero complaints about this processor. I originally had a 7700X, but I decided to sell it and get the 7600X in its place- that was a perfect decision. The 7600X is an absolute powerhouse. While you do lose a couple of cores, and may lose some productivity performance in terms of video editing and graphic design, there is barely a difference when it comes to games.In the games I tested, such as Cyberpunk, GTA V, RDR2, and Borderlands 3, I averaged only about a 2-4 FPS difference compared to when I was using the 7700X. It also helps extensively with cooling, as this only has a TDP of 65W at its best efficiency compared to the 7700X's 105W. However, despite the lower TDP, the 7600X can still get fairly hot, as I still found that my AIO wouldn't stop it from still reaching the lower 80's in more demanding titles.One major thing to note about the 7600X (or all AM5 processors in general) is that due to the new heat spreader design, you will need to make sure that you use a compatible cooler that uses a mounting system that will still apply adequate pressure, and also to be careful if you ever need to remove the CPU as it is harder to grip it by the sides. It's also very easy for thermal paste to fall into the grooves of the new IHS, but this won't be an issue as long as you steer clear of metal-based thermal solutions (unless you know what you're doing.)Overall, the Ryzen 5 7600X is the best value bargain deal in terms of ALL CPUs on the market right now- regardless if you prefer AMD or Intel. There is simply no CPU with as much performance, versatility, and general range of use in terms of its cost. Additionally, the periodic sales make it even more of a value deal, and I would definitely suggest getting the 7600X over all the other options if all you primarily do is streaming, gaming, or general use. I highly recommend it!

Amazing, runs well, fast and very stable, It can run a little hot, so make sure to have a good cooler.

This CPU is incredible. I didn’t have my graphics card for a while so all I had was the integrated graphics this thing had and it handled everything I threw at it. You can game lightly. You can web search. Everything. The cpu is incredibly easy to install. Perfect 10/10. Would definitely put this in my next build

Updated 11/16: CPU running great for everything I needed it for but make sure to pick good motherboard and stay away from Asus Motherboards and GPU's that have unstable bios and buggy gpu bios that can't handle newer gpu drivers without breaking down with problems like getting error code 144 or display of some app going over the taskbar due to bad bios on their GPU's or motherboards being the root caused. Also dealing with booting problem like posting on orange light for dram to red light for cpu back and forward due to the motherboard having bad bios update being the root caused of it.Upgrade Ram to 32GB DDR5 6000Mzh (Corsair Vengeance) and two more fans for cooling the only new add-on but overall system great minus Asus crap due to bad bios updates.Overall don't freak out but stay clam when it does happen. Asus just not trust worth brand no more but take the risk to buy from them if you wish.Old Review: BelowHonestly any reviews on this motherboard about booting up is the end user who didn’t listen well about building first time pc hardware together. My first time putting together this hardware was fun and scary experience for me.Motherboard didn’t boot up fully; I freaked out and said i got a defect motherboard. I was so wrong and stupid, the likely causes are either motherboard, cpu, or ram sticks. Bios on the motherboard was out of date and root caused on why the yellow dram light turning on and main issues on booting up.I had to redo all the Fan pins connecting again so it’s in order starting with main case fans and water cooler pump/fans. RPG on the water cooler fans were cool but not a main thing for me as long as it cools the cpu heat greatly which does i believe. I can’t say for 100% sure since I haven’t had a desktop PC in years especially one that is gaming desktop pc over normal desktop computers are.I picked an AMD CPU Ryzen 5 7600X since its friendly budget cpu and handles all my gaming needs greatly. It can handle 5200mhz speeds from ram good. The system rams are Corsair Vengeance DDR5 clock at 5200mhz speeds, two sticks of 8gb for total of 16GB in duel memory channel mode. Plan to upgrade it to 32gb later on.Cpu cooler is water cooler by Corsair H100xRGP elite liquid cooler. Finally main boot drive is crucially p3 plus 1TB gen 4 which has incredible read and write rate speeds that the motherboard handles like a pro.Motherboard has many USB ports for connecting USB of different speeds like USB 2.0, 3.0, 4.0 and USB type C as well two of then for 10 or 20 speeds. I would had love if it supported USB 3.0 speeds or higher since they are already backwards compatible towards older usb speeds. Anyway we have 4 x usb 2.0 ports, two usb 3.0 ports, and finally two usb c ports for connecting with. One Ethernet connection port that gives 2.5 gigabytes speeds for online experience.The system is fully stable on running all the hardware perfectly. I got this to pair up with a 7900 XTX for 4K gaming. This is a fantastic CPU, however there are a few things to know. I did pair this with 6000 CL36 RAM and a MSI B650 Tomahawk board. It ran EXPO with no issues, however the processor was running at a higher clock than factory and was causing some stability issues. To fix this issue I ran the CPU at a negative .15 offset. This brought stability to the system and also increased performance in games and in cinabench R23. Also to note this is a chip that runs hot, but that it is designed to run hot by AMD. To keep it cool I ran a EK 360 AIO and set the package temperature limit to 85 degrees. Even with the negative .15 offset and 85 degrees limit this chip benchmarked higher that most review I have seen for the 7600X. I did attempt a undervolt with PBO and it would not accept any, however with the setting I have previously mentioned this chip ran cool with awesome performance, still exceeding the factory 5.3 boost speeds. After settings were in place it was running games at 50-60c, with no bottlenecks on the 79000XTX at 1440p or 4K. Overall I am very pleased with my choice to get the 7600X as I only use it for gaming and no productivity. For anyone that is wanting a fast gaming CPU, this one will accomplish that at a very good price!

This processor is bang for buck and provides you with anything and more than you could ever ask for a processor of this price range. Just beware Ryzen 7000X series cards run hot and pull voltage until they hit their ceiling of 95C. So if under a heavy load expect to see temps between 80-95C. So make sure to pair it with an decent cooler.
