The aids deliver as advertised. Severe hearing is amplified to you to understanding, but also background noise. Works just fine for me.

I ordered a pair for a friend to help her out. The first arrived, with 2 aids for the left ear. We arranged to have the pair returned, and a second pair was sent as a replacement for the first pair, without charge. This was all very nice, but the second pair also has 2 aids for the left ear!! I don’t know why, but either the company has no quality assurance; or the people packaging the items don’t know the left and right aids are different, which would indicate a deficiency in training; or they are trying to get rid of wrongly packaged items by sending them out to unsuspecting patrons in the hopes that the patrons won’t know the difference. I haven’t heard from my friend yet if the left aid even works in the right ear, but will report on that. It is very frustrating, because her hearing is terrible and the left aid in the left ear makes it possible for me to have a conversation with her, but with the right ear aid, it would be even better. It is very frustrating. I would not order from this company again. I am giving them 1 star for sending a second pair without charge.

UpdateThe seller has reached out to me twice in the past two days trying to address their lack of response to my original message. Because I had lowered the rating because of the lack of communication I feel I need to revise the star rating to 3 stars. Because of the short time the aids worked I can’t justify going higher.When I received these I thought they were perfect. I tried contacting the seller through Amazon but got no response. I was tempted to ask for replacements but when the seller didn’t respond I didn’t want to risk it.I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because I really did love them and enjoyed them for 2-3 weeks. Hopefully this pair was just an oddity.

I’ve gone through seven devices; hearing aids, amplifiers and a Bose Hearphone set. They all started diminishing in capability as my hearing worsened. I’m now at 90% loss in the left and 75+% in my right ear. Took a chance on these and it lived up to the “for profound hearing loss” capability! They were fully powered out of the box and ready for self-fit. There is plenty of volume for my level of hearing and that’s at the lowest two levels of four. There is also four levels of background noise suppression that do work in everyday environments. However, my biggest problem is tonal loss in the spoken range. No amount of amplifying will compensate for that. If this device had tone adjustments I might have rated higher and felt like part of the crowd again! Overall, it’s a solid set of over the ear devices that will get the job done in most real world environments. One thing I did notice was in noisy places like restaurants and indoor spacious places, the background noises can be quieted down but there might be a small loss of being able to hear voices in front. But at home, it’s a different story…this is where they really shine! Carpeting, furniture etc., absorb background noises which makes it easy to understand people talking or the tv. BTW: the charge lasts a fairly long time and everything is included to keep them functional and operating! The price is the best value, by far, of any device I’ve had before!

I bought these with hopes of being able to hear people when they are talking to me. Works for my purposes. I only use 1 Opposite side of where I can hear best. Must admit I have to leave them out when in vehicle

Easy to use. These aids make a difference. They are also really well priced that a second pair is recommended. Happy hearing!

TLDR: Do not recommend buy something else... One unit failed after about 3 months the battery no longer holds a charge, (I didn't mind to much as I only needed one for the ear that has hearing loss) after about 6 months the other ones volume knob is coming detached and causing volume issues. don't recommend as they seem "Cheaply made" however, when they did work the sound was good about 3 out of 5 the fit was rough as my ears needed to get used to them, but every device will do that. The high volume cut was nice but sometimes failed and amplified the sound hurting my ear... its been almost one year... that works out to $60 bucks a year for hearing... Not a DLC I wanted to pay for but alas its... necessary...
