Update: I am stunned by the amazing customer service. They replaced the unit and it works beautifully. Very quiet. It immediately picked up on the smoke and revved up the fan speed. We have prescribed burns in the area. It is so appreciated when in an area with such bad air quality. They went above and beyond. I would absolutely buy from them again. Many thanks - you are making a difference in this person's health. So far I have noticed: It is very loud, much louder than they stated. Can't hear the tv over the fan even though unit is a long way off in another room. It does not remove cooking odors. The light remains blue even with smoke, so the sensor doesn't seem to work. I have to use the manual fan speed, since the auto mode is always on too low, even when there is smoke in the air. My AirOasis works much better and quieter. I have to say, I would not buy this brand again. I'm holding out hope it is filtering mold out of the air. Time will tell.

I bought this for my salon. It is absolutely worth all the money! Works incredibly well, and makes a huge difference in the quality of air. The only complaint I have is the noise level is a bit loud when it kicks into high. Overall very pleased with the performance and product. Would highly recommend!

These are amazing. Quiet, efficient, and filters can be vacuumed monthly. Amazing the amount of dust reduction in my home!

This is the fourth Air Doctor I’ve purchased! It makes the air feel so clean! I’ve had workers comment on the air quality of our home. They are not cheap, and the filters are on the expensive side, but when you replace them, you see all that it has saved you from breathing. You get what you pay for! I highly recommend this!!

I've never had any other air purifier so can't compare to other brands, but I know this one has been great for me. It takes care of any odors, reduces allergies/irritations, and makes a nice white noise sound to sleep to. I have it in my bedroom. You can turn on night mode which turns off all light indicators on it, so it doesn't bother you when trying to sleep. I can't sleep without it. I just leave it on auto-mode 24/7 in there. Haven't noticed any change to my electric bill because of it. I actually wound up buying the biggest one AirDoctor has (5000?) for our kitchen/living room (open concept). It completely gets rid of kitchen smells, which is great so our whole first floor (again open concept) doesn't get stinky from the food we cook. The big one is super quiet compared to this, barely makes any sound at all. Refrigerator is louder. But it is a lot bigger if you are comparing sizes to this one, which is more compact.

We bought this because my son has a dust mite allergy. It has been so helpful to keep in his room. He isn’t waking up with puffy eyes anymore. We love it!

I thinks it’s a bit too noisy on low… I bought the smaller one hoping it would be quieter.. but not… dang

Super quiet and sensitive to pollution. Color changes and fan increases when I bring clothing with minor sawdust or drywall dust into the room even though it is a few feet away!

Love the AirDoctor 2000. Is very quiet and the air is noticeably fresher. We put in our son’s bedroom and he is very fussy with noise when he is trying to go to sleep. This machine is not loud and you can mute the blue light at night. Going to purchase a couple more for other bedrooms.

The air doctor is very quiet running and does a great job of purifying the air.

I’ve had it for three days and am happy with it so far. I bought it to help improve my sleep so we shall see.
