Great Deck Bag. Love the new attachment clips!
This GearLab 2 Deck Bag is my second one. I have the first gen one and love that one too. The newly designed clips on the Gen 2 that attach the bag to your kayak lines are very simple to use and takes much less fiddling than the first gen bag. There is plenty of room inside the bag for several bottles of water or a bladder, snacks and/or a small lunch. There is mesh that will let water escape should any get in there. The side ‘pouches’ hold a paddle float and bilge pump and adjust easily to the various sizes of these things. The low profile design looks great.

Not waterproof
Great little deck bag. It’s only drawback is it’s not waterproof. No big deal it holds a large enough dry box to fit all my essentials. Plenty of outside pockets to hold fishing pliers and multi tools.

Great Product, Wish It Was Waterproof
Used my deck back for the first time kayaking in Canada. Design is spot on, love every aspect of it except for the fact it's NOT water proof or water resistant. Bag has a vent in it, which is mind boggling for a kayak bag with the primary intent to be to keep your items dry.

It has a very innovative retention system that clips directly to your perimeter lines. Tightens down easily and stays extremely snug on your deck all day in all conditions. Water resistance is excellent.
