Typical Peter James Grace novel.

Lots of interesting characters. Plenty of detail shining a light to peer into the duplicitous world of art and forgeries. Wrapped up a little too easy, but still good with something to entice the reader to invest in the next installment.

Story is a bit slow at the start and the subject i.e. stealing dogs to order to resell them for a large gain doesn’t on the face of it sound very exciting, but Peter James as always writes the story in such a way it just keeps you hooked. Definitely worth a read
