Great value product that can be easily upgraded
This fightstick is really great value for 2 reasons: Firstly its far cheaper that the top end fightsticks out there (and to be fair there are reasons for that). However despite being cheaper and having a lower quality stick and buttons that the more expensive models the parts are still decent enough for casual use. The second reason it is great is because of just how easy it is to mod. After 3 months of use I decided to upgrade the parts to Sanwa (picture attached). The installation of these parts is pretty simple, its just a matter of knowing what you need. If anyone is interested in upgrading theirs I have written a guide for it here: [...] Its smaller than some of the more expensive sticks out there which isn't really a positive or negative but for me its a bonus as I don't have space to store one of these things and this just about fits on my small desk I have my gaming set up on. its about 30 cm wide. The negatives are really only 2. The initial design is kind of boring and the button colour is a bit ugly for my tastes. Also if you want to use this on a console rather than PC then you need an official controller plugged into it. However the buttons can be replaced really easily and the controller for consoles issue is something you have to deal with if you want a universal fightstick. I use this on PC for Street Fighter V and Killer Instinct so this is not an issue for me anyway For these reasons its hard to mark it down on these things. Overall, for the price you are paying its a really great product that its decent as it comes and can be upgraded with top end parts and still cost a lot less than some of these high end fightsticks on the market.

a very reasonably priced arcade stick - for multiple consoles
This is a very reasonably priced arcade fight stick - by Mayflash. It's well-made, with a very sturdy feel. It's components are not 'high-end' - but they are fully functional, and if your intention is to get regular use from an arcade stick without worrying about being heavy-handed with it then I fully recommend this item. What's great is that it's compatible with multiple consoles. It works with the PS4 and PS3 as well as the Xbox One and Xbox 360 (as well as a PC). If you're someone who plays on multiple consoles, this is a perfect arcade stick. It functions simply by attaching a wired controller (of your selected console) to it. It's 8 main buttons, as well as the stick itself, are solidly designed. I've made some good use out of this device (playing 'Street Fighter' and 'Mortal Kombat'), and it's very responsive. It does everything I've required of it ... Okay, it might not look as good as some of the expensive arcade sticks - but in terms of its usefulness, it's a great piece of equipment. And, because of the price, it's a bargain.

Good for the price, decent compatibility
It's good - if not absolute arcade quality. Took me a morning to get used to it in SFIV after playing with a pad for years. Can confirm the version I got works with the Nintendo Switch, just need a quick firmware update from Mayflash to v1.13 from the installed v1.12.

THIS FIGHT-STICK DOES WORK WITH XBOX ONE AND PS4!!!!!
I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but some of the other reviews have left me disgruntled; For £45, this Fight-stick is a bargain! It might not be high-end, but it's a great starter, I'd say it out performs the Madcatz SE fight-stick for half the price! And that leads me to my next point; Even if you're not looking for a "starter" stick, this is a great unit for customisation. You can replace all the buttons and stick easily, for £35ish, with Sanwa parts. OK now onto the main issue; THIS FIGHT-STICK DOES WORK WITH XBOX ONE AND PS4!!!!! I honestly have no clue how so many people can't get this working with ease, so I have determined these possibilities; - You're using a 3rd party controller which will not work with this stick, it needs to be an official Sony/XBox made controller. - You have a faulty unit, which rather than come on here and cry that you "lost" £45 because the stick is "junk", you should contact the seller/manufacturer and make use of your warranty, that is what it is there for. - You're a complete moron who can't follow simple instructions. If you need a cheap stick that is value for money, and you're not fussy about it not being "high-end", BUY THIS STICK!

Arcade joysfick
Awesome joystick set for playing old school arcade games on my laptop. Feels like the old arcade machines.

Good to transition from beginner to pro with some modding, excellent value for both.
This arcade stick is intended to be a first stick for anyone wanting to get started with real arcade like kit. It has cheap microswitches on the buttons and stick so will stop working as well eventually with medium to hard use. By this time you will have decided if you want to be serious about fight sticks. You now can at this point or sooner if you wish, take the base off the unit and be able to replace the whole buttons (with microswitch) and whole stick (with micro switches) with sanwa parts, you can also just replace the microswitches on the buttons and stick to save some money if that's important to you I know it is to me. Sanwa make arcade sticks and buttons for real arcade machines and are considered by many to be the go to for arcade sticks and arcade machines parts for fighting game players. arcadeworlduk is where I get my parts. One suggestion for everyone, If you find the stick is a little loose for your liking you can simply open up the unit and remove the clip on the end of the stick shaft (be careful it doesn't spring off into space) now lift off the parts until you see the spring. Now simply stretch the spring in small amounts until you get the desired resistance, you can also buy different strength springs to replace it with instead of this. Last of all if installing a sanwa stick you will need an extra cable that attaches the stick to the pcb board in the one socket that is not being used, this cable is easily found on the sanwa stick page at my preferred place to get these. Enjoy your new fight stick. youtube is your friend ;)

A decent stick with minor issues
This is definitely a decent stick being my first for use with the xbox one. The square gate makes execution of moves much easier on killer instinct. The issue I noticed immediately however is that you cannot talk with a headset using a controller that is plugged into this device. You can talk using kinect but nobody wants to hear a clicky stick or me mashing buttons while I learn how to use it. I tested on both xbox one and pc and it works fine with no input lag or issues besides the headset thing so if you don't really want to talk it's fine. Otherwise get used to needing to unplug the xbox pad occasionally to chat in between matches.

Excellent for its price.
If you’re looking for a stick to use for a wide variety of platforms, I strongly reccomend this one. Especially if it’s revision 1.1, which this one thankfully was despite no such mention in the listing. It manages to be compatible with a ton of things by way of plugging a controller into the stick to help translate the signals into the proper encoding. You may need to update the firmware with patchers downloadable from the Mayflash website. The buttons and stick are offbrand, but feel like Sanwa parts, and if you want to install authentic Sanwa parts, they made it as easy as possible to swap the parts out for Sanwa parts, and it doesn’t even void the warranty. I put Sanwa buttons and a Sanwa stick in mine, and am now using it on Xbox One, PC and Raspberry Pi, working like a charm on all three.
