2nd set was great
This is really nice set of aluminum squares with a stainless steel ruler. I work outside and keeping my old ones from getting rusty is difficult. Only issue was the first time I ordered this set, the spirit level on the carpenter square had a fractured glass and there was no liquid in the level. I returned and new one was just fine.

Can't get better for the price.
I was surprised at the quality and feel of the set.The protractor part was off by 1 degree, easy to remember and adjust for.The combination square was a perfect 90 degrees.The rafter square was square.I did end up using a file to smooth out a couple of slightly rough edges on the rafter square.Product works great and at $25 when I purchased it, is a great deal.

Solid, but disappointing kit
EDIT: The seller reached out and provided a refund because of my issues and acquired a picture of the ruler marks to assess. Because of this I'm bumping up to 3 stars from 2 as I appreciate good customer service.I'm currently taking a welding course in college and needed to get a combination square, and came across this kit with a few extra bits that I figured would be useful down the line. The overall product is fine enough, and I like having the extra pieces, but it's disappointing in a couple aspects.Number 1 being that on the ruler, the 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch marks are the same length as the 1/8 inch marks, making it difficult to discern at a quick glance. I find myself having to count the 1/8 marks which is a bit of a nuisance, but not the end of the world.Number 2 being that the protractor head just simply doesn't work. It was EXTREMELY difficult to turn at first and now it is just completely stuck. I made sure to loosen the restraining screws, even removing them at one point, and it still would not budge at all.Overall, I probably wouldn't recommend this kit, but the price is hard to beat for what they offer.

Not recommended if you need more than 1/16 inch accuracy on small pieces
Not accurate enough for much. Maybe small pieces of wood where 1/16" slop is acceptable. 6 inch ruler is off by 1/16". the 1/8" markings vary by 1/32" plus or minus from each other. base of square is warped.
