As a grumpy, 75yr. old bloke, I bought this product on a whim. Best thing I've ever done.....I'm a retired engineer, brain slowly going to mush,and now pretty crap for anything physical and I came across this product . Well, I think It's brilliantly simplistic yet taking the Projects through slowly, following the instructions it is not only instuctional but teaches theory of the build as I assemble it on the"breadboard".Time seems to fly past because I am so enthralled and absorbed with your product...The only"complaint" I find is calling this product a toy I suppose ole gits like me are allowed out to play

What a result!
Bought for 6yo granddaughter for Xmas, as we thought that she might enjoy it - even though she is a bit of a 'girly' girl. Suffice it to say that she absolutely loved it. Worked patiently through the circuit experiments and enjoyed all of the discussions that we had in a fun and applicable way about maths, science and electricity in general. She then started making up her own circuits, and is now pestering mum and dad for the supplementary sets. Quite astonishing. On that showing, can't recommend this set enough. It's also much more reliable and robust with the bus bars and pop stud connectors than the old wire version.

Great for 8-9 year old
After reading previous reviews about receiving item in other than English language, I want point out that my item is in English. I bought it for 9 year old who started circuits at school. My child is in love with Snap Circuits. After receiving the item he spent 3h!! on building projects,then the next morning as soon he opened his eyes he started building another project. If your child just started with circuits in primary school, I recommend Snap Circuits

I am so glad I bought this
Mu 8 year old who has not played much with circuits before loves this. HE spent three straight days building circuits with this. He can do it independently so I don't have to sit down and play with him. The instruction manual is very well written and explains what a circuit does and also sometime why it won't work if something is changed. I was not sure if I should buy this but he loves it. And anything that gets him away from ipad and video games is a great thing in my eyes.After a couple of months of having this now it’s still a big hit. Definitely a buy.

Thoroughly recommended
This is a great hit with my 4 year old grandson. It's like Lego with built-in electronics. He enjoyed making bells ring; buzzers buzz; music play and a fan go round and was ecstatic when he managed to set a whirlygig off into the air. I don't suppose he understood much of the science of it but there is an accompanying book that explains that and gives different projects to pursue. A very good value kit.

Excellent
This is a high quality electronics kit with lots of experiments to try. It has simple components (switches, lamp, battery) and some more complex sound making components. The parts clip together and there are plenty of interconnects. The manual is clear and easy to understand. Unlike some reviewers we did receive a copy in English and I note that the English version is also available for download.My only criticism is that there is not much explanation of how the circuits work, so having someone who knows a bit about electronics would be helpful if you want your child to learn more. It's fun just building the projects and I'd highly recommend it for anyone starting out. My 8 year old daughter loves it!

Many hours of entertainment and education
My 7 year old and 4 year old boys have been playing very nicely together, helping each other building snap circuits. They've been learning a lot while they've been doing it, and having a lot of fun. It has entertained them for hours. This is a truly great product!

Excellent...my kids fall in love with this educational game..hope fully he will get used to by his own than I will buy another series for him...I will definitely recommend to those parents whose kids are willing to learn about electronics..just guide them n check project connection before they witch ON.very easy to connect n kids will get used to in couple of project..
