Review: Great watch for the money - I really bought this for the retro look, it's nice when people see it and I used to have one of them, then the surprised look when you tell them it's new, the watch it's self is really nice and super accurate I did flick through the instructions, which were very clear and precise in how to set the watch up, but once set up is complete you can turn the signal of if you wish I left mine on as I won't be using the watch it's self from midnight to 0600. You really don't want to be pressing buttons between these hours because if you do while the watch is receiving a signal it will cause problems for yourself and the watch. I am not to keen on the strap it's self, it feels and looks cheap because it is but I will replace that for something more substantial and the actual face of the watch is acrylic so it will scratch up very easy so have a couple of tubes of poly watch at the ready, and try to source a screen protector. Then the issue of 50 meter water💧resistance so your ok in the shower 🚿 and the paddling pool, but for the money you can not grumble its a cracking little watch once you set it up correct, be nice if casino made the same watch with a decent strap sapphire crystal display and a decent strap but then it would probably be out of our price range 😉 would I recommend you buy this watch of course I would for what it cost it's a cracking piece of kit. Easy peesy to set up. Enjoy 😉 Review: Great watch, self time-setting to local zones within seconds. - Travelled across Europe and South Africa and the watch self-adjusted as I went, perfectly. Same again all the way home. Quality made item with easy to read display and controls. Highly recommend, great value for the quality and functions. Looks very stylish and fits well, good quality comfortable strap with wide range of adjustment.

Great
Good cheap watch. It's totally accurate and unlike the previous model I have had no reset issues. Also the afterglow light is excellent for night timing. The strap is comfortable and the watch is waterproof so no problems in the shower or even swimming. Only issue is that the face gets scratched up after a while.

Brilliant.
I have tried several different models of "smart watch". I never really found the notifications useful, and having to recharge a smart watch every couple of days was a pain. However, the smart watches did have one benefit of always showing exactly the correct time. I decided to go back to a "dumb watch" for the battery life, but didn't want to go back to a watch that is only "approximately correct" now that I had gotten used to a watch that was always the correct time. So, I bought one of these. The receiver does not run continuously, but rather activates overnight. When I took it out of the box it had a last synchronise date approximately 18 months before (presumably when it was manufactured), yet the time was only approximately 2 minutes out. This would suggest that drift when not receiving a signal is less than 2 minutes per year. So, even if you were to spend several months sleeping in locations with no signal it would still keep time reasonably well. Under normal circumstances it re-synchronises every night so will be precise to within a fraction of a second even if it fails a couple of nights in a row. My PC clock is synchronised on-line and set to display seconds. They are both so closely synchronised that I can not see any difference - they both tick over at exactly the same time as far as my eyes can tell. No way I could achieve that level of accuracy with a normal watch... I have not properly tested the water resistance by swimming or anything because I don't really do that and as far as I am concerned 50M just means "you can get it wet". I have, however, worn it in the shower a few times without a problem. (Although, I normally remove my watch when I shower because as a child I realised that the gunk that kept building up on my watches was due to shampoo etc...)

Got the time?
I like to know what time it is, so I wear a watch. And I like the time on my watch to be as accurate as possible. So I wear this one. Simple to use, with a strap that's actually long enough to fit a man's wrist. For those who are bothered, it has world times (though navigating it isn't immediately obvious), an alarm, stopwatch and light. For those of us who can't be bothered removing our watch in the shower, the thing is also waterproof to a usable degree. It also has a receiver so that it can update itself to the current, accurate, time once a day. It has a rather useless icon on the dial to show when the watch is connected to a transmitter (for updating the time automatically); since this doesn't show up very well, I imagine the primary reason for its presence is so that youngsters can show off the features of the watch to their mates. Not something I have a particular interest in doing now I'm in my fifth decade! Perhaps Casio might consider improving the look of the face by removing this -- though I won't hold my breath on that one. The only major flaw in this watch is the 'glass' which is, of course, made of plastic. It scratches immensely easily, which is a dissapointment. Having said that, I've now worn this watch daily for work (in an office) and leisure (including some hardcore gardening!) and there have been no problems with it. If only it looked a little nicer, I'd be tempted to give it six stars. For the price, a great buy.

Very fiddly
Casio have let themselves down on this one. Very fiddly, radio signal was not found, time was wrong constantly, after an hour trying to configure I gave up. Also its not the most aesthetically pleasing watch. First time ever I went to timex and I'm glad I did

Accurate, reliable, long lasting, great value
Bought this in 2012 for accurate time keeping required for work and for everyday use. Worn every day, easy to set alarms, hourly chime, stopwatch, timer, other time zones etc. Automatically updates for BST. Just looking for my first replacement battery. Have found previous casino straps have perished after a few years but this one is still going. Great watch and will buy same again if I can't find new battery 😊 already had my money's worth!
