Q: Can this sit flat in bath tub corner after use? Or only hanging?

It can stand up by itself on large enough flat surfaces.

Q: In the video I notice the waterfall doesn't go in the baby's eyes or mouth. Does the design help keep the waterfall away from the mouth too?

Yes, it does prevent the water from going into baby's mouth. That being said, your baby has to be cooperative by tilting his/ her head backwards to make this work.Hope this helps!
