On the performance part, this product definitely delivers as promised: it really does hold well - even in difficult weather, like hot temperatures, high humidity, etc. - doesn't shine at all, and washes out relatively easily, mainly with water and perhaps a bit of shampoo/soap. As a heavy user myself (I get through a jar in three weeks, ok it’s a small jar but still) I can definitely see it being a good choice for others, too. These days though there's a lot of different styling products on the market so I often look for more than strictly performance. For example: hair products for women always smell really great and I find that manufacturers have largely neglected this in men's products, which is disappointing. Personally, I prefer Star Wax Clay ( Star Wax | Premium Pomade, Clay, by Star Pro Line - 5 fl oz / 150mL ) or Gatsby mainly because they're paraben-free, though I would lean more toward Star Wax since it has a nicer fragrance and holds better so you get a nice bonus (not to mention the best rinsability of them all). I took off half a star for each of these features that TIGI lacks. So overall, this ends up being a good product, just not a great one.

Bought for my grandson,who's hair is everything. He loves it. Nice product that does what is sayes and smells good. I've been using there products for years. You think it's pricy but you only need a little so therefore it's economical. Good looking container

I've been using this for years. I've always found that my hair kind of gets used to high street options (this wasn't when I started using it) but with this, it's been consistent and high quality, giving a kind of dry, shaped style that's really effective and good value for money considering the quality of it. I love this stuff.

Reasonable product that holds well, and feels a lot better than some drug store products. However, it is very difficult to wash out of hair, and takes a decent couple of shampooing sessions to remove it all. Can make hair feel quite dry after lots of use, but this will depend on hair type.

It's brilliant. I'm female, and have short, very fine hair, that just lays flat in my head, and won't do anything. No matter what I use, it just goes straight and flat again. This is the first thing I've tried that actually works. I put it on my fingertips, and push it into my roots. My hair stands straight up, and stays up. I then just style it with my fingers and a brush. It's amazing. My tip for removing it, is use conditioner on your hair before shampooing. It smells nice too. Fresh, and clean.

It works well once in but is very paste-y. It shouldn't worry you much, just not as easy to 'scoop' out of the tub as you might otherwise expect. But it holds well and feels good.
