Spyder AMP Jacket

I got this ski jacket for my daughter for Christmas before she went back off to college. She has gone skiing in it a couple times and absolutely loves it! It kept her completely warm and it was extremely comfortable. I tried it on when I first bought it from Amazon (we are the same size) and I loved how it fit, and the fact at the end of the sleeves you can put your thumb in to keep snow from going up your sleeves. This jacket has many functional pockets with zippers which I love to keep valuables locked and secure. It also has an attached clip in one pocket to attach ski gloves to when not wearing them like in the lodge. There is also an attachable hood. Spyder is one of my favorite ski clothing companies because they are made with such high quality and functionality with great designs that I usually never try on anything else. Always 100% satisfied and this is no exception!

I love Spyder ski jackets. My first one lasted more than 5 years before it started to wear. And that was with daily use during Montana winters. Which is why I wanted another Spyder ski jacket. This one does NOT disappoint. It has pockets for all one needs skiing-including one on the sleeve to put ID/cash/keys. I love the new inner liner that comes over the hands. The one feature I miss from my old one was the underarm zipper for those warmer days.

Love it in all ways except there is some Velcro by the neck that really is too severe to close completely. Leaving it open. it shredded my neck warmer and all the fuzz from my neck warmer is caked in the Velcro. One bad design element but the rest is fabulous.

Ordered the women’s size 8. I tend To be somewhere between a sm & med. this was way small. Not just in the shoulders but around my waist. My friend’s 10 year old daughter tried it on and it fit her perfectly. (She wears a child’s 10/12) so.., order 3 sizes up!!

This is exactly what I was looking for. I got a small but I had enough room to wear the layers I needed underneath. I went skiing in very low temperatures hovering around 0 and I was comfortable and warm the entire time. Many great pockets. It even snowed the first day like 6 inches and I stayed warm and dry the whole time. Definitely recommend!

Love this jacket - it is very warm. I don't have to wear as many layers under this jacket. I usually wear an 8 but read the reviews that said it ran small so checked the sizing and bought a 12 - it fit perfectly. On the slopes the wind doesn't bother me. This is a great jacket!

Great price and great looking jacket. Not the warmest but not bad with layers. Also definitely buy a size up.

My wife likes the styling and it is very warm, but she is disappointed in the lack of pockets or pouches to hold items while skiing.
