Thrustmaster TX Racing Wheel Leather Edition – Premium Racing Wheel for Xbox and PC with Realistic Force Feedback

Bought via Amazon resale as new in damaged or opened packaging and was in perfect condition. Easy to set up. Only disappointment for son on opening as a gift on Christmas morning was that the Xbox game pass had already been redeemed.

Good wheel for beginner or casual racer

Good wheel, but not particularly better than a G29. Smells hot even when just sat there and the clamping method is rubbish, I had to screw pieces of wood to the underside of the desk to stop it moving If you need loads of buttons/selectors/top hats, then this is for you, if not look elsewhere. Not impressed for the money.

My son always fancied the thrustmaster setup over his logitech ones he had and well he loves this,,many countless hours playing racing games and his favoutite eurotruck 2..His eyesight will mean he wont ever get a driver licence but this is the next bets thing correct ?

It really pains me to give this just one star because when it is working it is a fabulous steering wheel setup. Unfortunately i have bought 2 of these Thrustmaster TX leathers (essentially a t300 rs base with a leather covered wheel and upgraded T3PA pedals) and both have died within a hours of use. Both times it seems to have been the internal power transformer that has burn out. Rendering the entire unit a smelly useless ornament that wont power up. The second wheel had inconsistent shift paddles with the right one being extra spongy. Might seem nit picky but at £323 it should be up to the task of prolonged use. Like i said the wheel itself when working is great, lovely accuracy and great force feedback. But if this third wheel is just has just as naff quality control i might go for the Fanatec wheel instead.

Having previously owned a very expensive Fanatec wheel, I wasn't expecting too much from this considerably cheaper option. How wrong I was, it's brilliant. The wheel has an authentic 'feel' both in terms of touch & force-feedback. It feels sturdy and well built, and gets very tiring after a 1/2 hour race - just like the real thing. The force feedback is quite powerful, only feeling a bit too light when the car is stationary. I suspect that smaller kids will have to turn down the force because they will get arm ache after a few minutes, that's not a bad point, it's a very good point. Note: use the brake modification that comes with the pedals - you really have to press hard to get the full braking effort. it doesn't give any feedback like a real brake pedal, but it's close enough, and certainly better than the pedal moving to the floor with hardly any effort.

Very good wheel and servo base! The peddles are also decent, absolutely love it and would highly recommend! The quality is exceptional and the force feed back is brilliant!, i will never use a controller for racing games again!.

It was fantastic wheel with detailed force feedback and I really enjoyed using it up until it the point the mechanism started jumping. The force feedback is strong and I only ever ran it at 50% as that was the point it felt good and there was no clipping in game. Just after a month of use it started to click when turning left and then the wheel would not be centered. After recalibration it just did it again so it seems like something has gone internally. Waiting on a refund after it get received by Amazon but I will buy it again. It's a great bit of kit when it works correctly.

This set up is great, enough force to race & have fun, really enjoyable

I am in US but this is the UK model. I bought it because of the cheap price of $400 rather than $500. I don't really understand, but basically here in the US the TX Wheel doesn't get enough electricity since it's meant for the UK. So it doesn't work.

When I ended up getting the sim wheel they had a UK plug instead of us plug so I had to buy a us plug but even then I don't know if that will fry my wheel other then that no problem besides having to wait longer to maby use it if I don't fry it when I buy the us cable
