Bisley Brass Choke Gauge 12G

Great little choke gauge, solidly made. Used it on all my barrels and it reads off exactly what I knew them to be, having had a gunsmith already check them. Would be very happy using it to check any barrels / choke in the future.

What can you say about a choke gauge? Well, maybe if it didn't do the job then there would be plenty to say but this gauge does the job well, has clear choke markings and there are no burrs or rough edges. It is a nice solid item and invaluable for checking the choke on your 12 bore. It does nothing more and nothing less so is recommended if you need a 12 bore choke gauge.

It’s good tool but no use on extended chokes. If your old school and just want to check a fixed choke then it’s great.

A bit hit and miss with sizes Very poor

Unbelievably handy little keyring, I tested it against my multi choke shotgun (Chokes are marked up as what they are) and it's 100% accurate. The only criticism is (and it is a small one) is that when you insert it, the mark which identifies your choke is covered up. So just bare that in mind.
