It's coal syrup
It is what it says. Tastes like cola. Good strength. Makes a decent amount of drink. Enough to be worth the price. Mixes well with fizzy water.

Delicious grapefruit flavour with undertones of the quinine from the tonic.
Delicious grapefruit flavour with undertones of the quinine from the tonic. Some reviewers complain of an aftertaste of sweetener, however I believe it is the quinine they are probably tasting. As with basic tonic water you do get that lingering slightly metallic flavour. I love it because as a type 1 diabetic for the past 62 years, it has always been difficult to find new/original flavours in sugar free drinks. It is quite expensive, they state it will make up 12.5 litres of grapefruit tonic, (40ml/litre of soda water) which comes to 80p/litre. Cheaper than Schweppes tonics but not cheaper than those you can buy from supermarkets such as Tesco’s. However I make a much greater quantity using 25ml of this for every litre of soda water I make using my soda stream, thus making 20 litres at 50p/litre. At that price it becomes economical and the flavour is still good.

Yum!
Only word i can think of is pleasant. Absolutely great all rounder, not too sweet, natural and light taste of watermelon. As advertised, there is absolutely NO strange aftertaste. Will consider purchasing again, or perhaps another flavour!

Nowhere near close to Coke Cola
While it's definitely a cola flavour, it for sure isn't anywhere near the real thing. Diet at best and a clear synthetic/chemically undertone flavour, artificial is a word that comes to mind. Since the only alternative is a Pepsi brand that uses artificial sugar that tastes akin to their Max alternative, if you're just after a basic cola, then this is your best bet when it comes to value. However, I think I'm still going to stick with the official Pepsi even if it's slightly more expensive.

Weak and disgusting
1. Dosage - bottle recommends 2 capfuls per litre. This gave almost no flavour. Adding double this amount - hint of flavour. Added another capful - tasted disgusting.2. Flavour - for those of you expecting a close to Coca Cola / Pepsi flavour DREAM ON. At best it was like very very weak sweet water. At higher strength it tasted like loo cleaner.3. Value - since it has no flavour until at least triple the strength and still tasted vile, I’d say poor value. If you’re expecting to make 12 litres of cola as advertised immediately revise your expectation downwards to under 4. 4 litres for £8.50? Go buy real coke.Amazon gave me a refund. Suggest avoiding!

It's ok I guess but...
It's more for flavoured water than a sodastream, you got to use too much to get a reasonable taste, but for flavoured water it'll be ok, with a hint of lemon and lime, such a shame I can't really use it in carbonated water, cost is far to high to make it with it.
