Perfect Replacement for a Grizzled Veteran of a Controller
So for the longest time, I was playing games on my laptop with an old Xbox controller that I got back at Christmas of 2008. Not a criticism of my old controller; it survived my move to PC gaming and outlived two other official Xbox 360 controllers for Pete's sake. However, it's getting long in the tooth and it is starting to show those nine years (the left thumbstick crunches when you depress it, the sticks no longer snap back to re-centre themselves again, etc.) so that's why I finally retired it and put it somewhere safe so I have a backup. Naturally, I went looking for a replacement, and I found this. I was more comfortable with a wireless one, and I realised too late this was wired when I purchased it. But I'm glad I made this mistake. Not only was it slightly cheaper than the wireless version offered by EasySMX, it feels lighter in my hands whilst playing and I don't have to worry about having my rechargeable batteries run out in the middle of an intense session whilst I worry about sticking the depleted pair on charge and fumbling around for some normal AAs that I keep as backup. Aside from the long cable (which I admit does not help my already cluttered desk), I can find no faults at this early stage. It feels solid but light in my hands, it does everything my old 360 controller (if not better) and the feeling of responsiveness I haven't felt from an Xbox-style controller in a long time (ignoring the great controller experience I've had with my PS4 since January). Furthermore, a quick inspection of the screws holding it together reveal it seems relatively easy to open up and see what going on, should the need arise once the warranty runs out. I plan on holding onto this for a while, and I'll be darned if I can't get inside to wipe away a spec of dirt that's impairing its full functionality.

Great controller but has an idle activity issue
Bought this to play controller-friendly games on Windows 10, and it's been going great for driving games and even works well with the FPS games I've used it on. I've not touched the Turbo button or any features beyond what I need to play, so can't speak to those. However, this controller is not something I can leave permanently plugged into a USB port as it prevents the screen from sleeping. Windows normally switches my monitors off 60 seconds after locking the screen, but will never do so if the controller is connected. Unplugging the controller makes it work as normal. It's a small annoyance having to disconnect the controller when done playing, but it's a great controller with that one exception. And after years of playing on rechargeable Xbox controllers, and peripherals all moving to rechargeable, it's a novelty to not have to consider battery life.

Works just as good as an Xbox controller
Wanted an Xbox controller, but even second hand at the local second hand computer store they are quite pricey. All I wanted was a decent controller, so after checking what was available on here and reading around on reviews for different types, I settled for this one, and so far so good its doing its job well. Plugs into the usb port of my PC well. The controls are just like the Xbox, albeit cheaper, its just as good. The wire is quite long too, I might add, and as the kids are on the and we have a decent size screen, using the PC as a games player later on is awesome, no need to be sitting right in front of the screen, nope can be nice and comfy on the other side of the room, pretty much, within reason. The controller rumbles just as it should like an Xbox, Can`t really think of anything to grumble about yet, price isn`t too bad either, its cheaper than an Xbox controller and cheaper in the long run than a second hand controller. I`m playing not games likes COD but it is good and handles thing pretty well and most times I can exit the whole entire game and back to Windows vis the controller, but this depends on thne set up of the controls on some of the games. I bough this controller with idea of buying games from Steam and I`m happy with it, I`m sure its also good enough for other games on the PC.

Fantastic value for pretty decent XBOX360-style controllers
Fantastic XBOX360-style controllers for a VERY decent price. Fairly good quality -- controller feels robust overall, keys don't stick although they feel a little bit cheap and "clicky" but, as I said, they don't get stuck which is most important for me in terms of budget controllers. Analog sticks definitely sufficient, in my opinion, albeit a bit more sensitive compared to the real deal. The controllers use XINPUT API on Windows PCs which means that any games that support normal XBOX360 controllers will support these perfectly (once the controller's drivers are correctly installed which happens automatically on Win 7 and upwards). Tested on Win 7 and 10 and work perfectly on those platforms in XINPUT mode, even with multiple controllers. They even seem to support hot-swap (i.e. live plug-n-play) during games like the real XBOX controllers, which is great. Highly recommended for the casual gamer, especially for those intending on using them for local multiplayer at parties or other events with friends.

Great controller for a great price
I was recommended this controller by a friend for my Steam games. I play a lot of Rivals of Aether (platform fighter) and it requires a controller that can take a beating. I used to use Xbox Controllers because they were comfy and worked well, the only problem being that they don't last long. The last Xbox Controller I got for the most recent console only lasted a month of gameplay before the left stick broke and is in a constant state of drift. This controller is less than half the price of my previous controller, works almost as well and is still going strong after 2 months of sustained gameplay. If there is any issue it's that the sticks are slightly over sensitive but that's me fishing for complaints. If you want a excellent value controller for your PC I'd consider giving this one a try.
