Quality product, very thin and lightweight, great battery life.
Brand new – came in good packaging, seals intact. It’s a quality product, very thin and lightweight Super AMOLED screen. The built in memory of 32 GB was the minimum I was looking for as Apps and NETFLIX will only download to the main storage. This can be expanded via the built in micro SD card slot (up to 128GB) provides good amount of storage space for files, movies, etc. I wanted a thin, lightweight tablet for when I travel. The 8 inch screen is perfect, just the right size and it fits into most pockets on my carryon luggage. Great battery life. Buy a lightweight case (Moko is good) and protect your investment. Well worth the money I paid.

Fast tablet
This replaced my trusty old Nexus 7. I enjoy the wider screen for web browsing and ebooks. The quality of the screen is excellent and the octo processor makes all applications fly. My only reservation is that there appears to be a lot of bloatware and I soon had to start uninstalling apps.

Good value for money
This was a gift for my husband and he is delighted with it. Previously had a 7" tablet and he finds the slightly larger size much better to see. Charge seems to last a long time and also recharges very quickly. As the samsung tablet is compatible with our tv also very easy view material from tablet on tv screen screen.

Top Tablet
Top tablet. 4:3 aspect ratio brilliant for web reading and viewing. Every tablet should offer this. Fast and very user friendly. Offered to upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat soon after switching on. Did so and was done in about 25 mins. You might think has frozen but give it time. No need for an Apple with this beauty.

Thin and light

Unsure...yet
Bought to take on a 6 month work trip. When it arrived, in August, it needed an update. Took it with me to update once on wifi. After the update was fine then one day screen froze (sept) and was unable to get into the pad. Ran battery down to reboot and keyboard shiwed up brifht purple. Took it to Samsung repair shop and they were unable to repair it (in the country where I work). Been advised to take back to UK to have repaired. No plan to return to UK until Dec...so repairs have to wait till then.

Was I maybe expecting too much?
The Super Amoled is very good but screen hard to see in bright light. The battery does not seem to last as long as described. Applications cannot be transferred to SD card. This device's volume is extremely poor and sometime very hard to hear. Playing music, watching a movie or TV using headphones is hard to stand with so much treble. No negative comments regarding the speed of operation though! The OctaCore does its job. Sorry for being so negative but my previous Nvidia Shield had a wonderful sound but was deadly slow . . .Well, I guess we cannot have the best of both world? Easily connected to a Samsung Smart Qled TV using the Smart View option.

Not the latest Samsung tablet but is good value for money. It is compact and easily portable.
The tablet S2 has been updated so is not the latest Samsung tablet. I bought it for it's value for money. Quite a fast processor, 1.8GH and 32GB storage can be increased by 256GB with mini SD card. It is compact and has a super screen offering excellent resolution and colour fidelity. A good quality tablet overall..
