My seond attempt at high beam LED lamps. This time the promise seems to live up to the hype. So although it took some adjustment to get the best fit/arrangement, these are amazing in terms of high beam distance vision. Also you get the 'instant-on' nature of the technology, which has the benefit of being more visible to other road users if you have to use them for any safety reasons.Rather than fitting these with the lamp chassis in vertical alignment, I found the best arrangement for me (with Citroen headlamps) was with a horizontal alignment. This gave much better long distance lighting, and really made the road markings and distant objects stand out so much more. If you think about it a tungsten element gives a 360 deg illumination, so each cars reflector may require a different angle to get the best effect.

Great bulbs. Had them a year now and work perfectly. Great upgrade.

Huge job to change them on a Ford Focus 04. Had to remove the headlight assembly and cut away some of the housing to make room for the bulbs. Fitting the clips is difficult and fiddly. Be careful not to dislodge the vertical adjuster or the beams will be up in the trees as mine were, I left the adjustment motor in place for the second side. When finished, the result is very worthwhile with a huge increase in brightness. No one has flashed me so far although I have not had the beams aligned yet. I plan to have that done on the service this month. Do not even think about doing this upgrade without removing the whole assembly and having a day spare for each side. (I did one side at a time.)

These were purchased to compliment the H7 bulbs from another supplier and don't need to use the main beam that often but when i do these are bloody awesome.fitting was okay once I had used a pair of vice grips to get the 'removable' holder off the main unit. easier to fit than H7 bulbs due to the more prominent shaping. respond time good so far.fans kick in almost as soon as the full beam is activated and haven't ran them for more than a couple of minutes at a time so will see how it goes.
