Black Friday will be a "red letter" day for me. I'm waiting for Cyber Monday so I'll write out my Christmas letters Thanksgiving weekend. These refills are perfect. They fit the "wider" body of my Parker pen so my hand will will be comfortable.

I can write with these in my pen. So I guess they are great.

Could have been more bold

I needed a refill for a Pentel Client pen that seemed to be built very wells I went to an Office Max to find one, Pentel being a fairly large ball point and gel pen maker. Only Blue or Black ink available for Pentel and none with the right shape, length or top mechanism for proper operation. I'm pretty stubborn, so looked at other refills. I found a Parker refill that looked exactly like the broken cartridge in my Pentel, but NO RED!. I dislike going to Amazon for obscure stuff, but we have to admit, that's their speciality. Long story Short I ordered it and it Fit and Worked perfectly.I have to say that if it wasn't for the large selection of refills at Office Max, I would have never discovered this match. Does Parker own Pentel.., or visa versa?

Hard to find locally, red is my go to color of ink. Smooth and bright.

I was hoping for a warmer red, to be honest, but based on all of the red pens I have seen, I think that may be unrealistic. I usually use Schmidt easyFLOW 9000, and it is the smoothest writer I have ever seen; however, I needed red ink for markups, and it essentially doesn't exist in red. These Parker cartridges aren't as smooth as the easyFLOW, but they are still very smooth and have a great ink flow. Unfortunately, the market for red ink refills is rather small, but I think these are almost certainly the best option.

In the pictures the cartridges are metal the ones i received where plastic. They work perfectly fine but not as pictured
