Curver Metal Effect Pedal Deco Bin 50L

Really love this bin, I've seen other reviews saying the bin pedal has broken, this hasn't happened with me but I also haven't had it for so long. It's really easy to clean and doesn't rust which is a huge bonus. It looks exactly like stainless steel and looks really sleek in my kitchen. The rubbish bag holders are also really handy as I hate it when the bin bag falls into the bin. I can also put a good amount of rubbish in before its full. Compared to other bins of similar style/size, this price is much better and works just as well. Overall, really like it!

This is a great bin - it's lightweight and looks good. The main body of the bin looks like it's metal but is coated plastic (easy to clean) and the operation is simple - just a pedal to lift the lid or you can just use your hand. There are two brackets that secure the bag too which is so useful - the bag is held securely at the rim of the bin making removal easier and it stops the top of bag being pushed down into the bin. So simple but very effective. 50 litres is essential for my family of 4 and 3 dogs, but the design is slim and it sits nicely without making any major statements.I love the simple design and ease of cleaning - no more funky options for me - just a bin that you can fill and empty easily! Great value too.

Just the ticket. We've previously had sensor bins that open when you wave a hand over them. They are great but they simply do not last (probably unless you're willing to spend megabucks). This is simpler and achieves the same thing: a bin you don't have to touch with your hands. It looks and works great for the price. One star off for the "novel" bag-holding mechanism: it does the job of holding the bag - and it's very easy to fit the bag - but unfortunately it works against you when taking out the trash! When it comes time to tie off a full bag and pull it out of this bin, those clever handles that hold the bag so beautifully the rest of the time now just get in the way. Every time you lift the rubbish out, they come up with it and grip the sides of whatever is inside. So the simple act of lifting it all out becomes a real pain in the butt. There's no way around this because those handles are not easily detachable, so it's a design flaw on an otherwise-great product.

This is the second bin I have purchased. I bought an identical one as the first one was so good. Its easy to get the bag in and out, easy to clean and fits nicely up against the wall. The other one only got damaged when I knocked it over when it was empty and the lid broke. Decent size, much better than a round bin.

It's a good size, love the soft close lid and pedal is good size for my big feet to use 😂. For the price it's good value, looks good in my new kitchen and the bucket size means I'm not emptying it every hour. Perfect for me, pleased with my purchase.

Finally a cat proof bin to stop the little f*****s climbing in and repeatedly emptying it all over the kitchen floor... They still manage to get the bin over, but yet to succeed in ruining my mornings, so so far we are finally winning and I’m getting my mornings back! It would have been far easier to tie the cats up every night, however the misses was strongly against this... atleast for now! Let’s hope this works... For their sakes eh!!! ****** UPDATE ****** So far so good, very good quality in, what’s great is you can fit 3x red bricks in the bottom, which fit absolutely perfectly by the way, for you OCD guys outs there! And this not only solves that little terror up there in knocking it over, but also plays a great part in getting the bin bag out, without dragging the bin all the way through the house with it!! Overall; Way too pleased about this bin! So it must be good, now it’s time to go back to shooting zombies... Before I end up reviewing toasters and ironing boards!! 🙄 🤙

Arrived promptly and am 99% very happy with my purchase. Well made and sturdy. Lovely vibrant red colour. Foot pedal works well, as does the internal frame to hold your rubbish bag in place. My 1% reservation, and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that there was nothing placed between the packing box and the bin lid to stop me from marking the lid with my scissors when I scored across the top of the box to cut the tape. I was so annoyed with myself as when I pressed hard enough to cut the tape I also scored the top of the lid, not realising the lid was exposed below the tape. I'm sure I'm not the only purchaser to do this so perhaps I can make a recommendation to the sellers that they add a piece of cardboard the same width as the bin lid, that sits on top of the lid and between the lid and the top of the box so future purchasers can't score into the lid when they run their scissors or knife across the top of the box to cut the tape.

After getting bin I realised it wasn’t stainless steel (due to me not paying attention) thought it would make it cheap/tacky looking or flimsy BUT was pleasantly surprised, I’d say this material is better, it looks like a matte finish rather than shiny like stainless steel and I think that looks better, it’s also harder to get dirty but when it does its really easy to clean. Will be buying this type of material over stainless steel in future. A decent size too, my other bin was 50ltr but if you packed it, it was difficult to remove the bag, this one is a lot easier to take out rubbish, only tip is to make sure the 2 side handles inside are kept down when removing the bag, if not they close over the bag as you pull it out like a clamp.

Der Mülleimer ist einfach super, ich liebe die Farbe, und die eckige Form. Das ist sehr platzsparend. Eigentlich sollte dem Mülleimer Griffe beiliegen, allerdings waren sie bei mir nicht vorhanden. Kurz war ich auch irritiert, dass der Mülleimer keinen Inneneimer hat. Aber ich hätte die Griffe sowieso nicht benutzt, und der Inneneimer ist auch überflüssig. Ich bin total zufrieden, der Mülleimer ist stylisch und sehr funktionell, klare Kaufempfehlung.
