I don't think I'll ever be engaging at the distance this light reaches in the dark.
The range is impressive, I wasn't gonna spend 1k on the lights guntubers are trying to sell. This does warm up and I'm not a huge fan of the magnetic charger.But I can point this thing at a cell tower 300 yards away and still see the light. It lasts a pretty long time. The throw is narrow obviously for distance, but it has a dimmer outer circle, as well as enough bounce back that made the light usable in cqb scenarios.Worth a try if nothing else.

This is a great surprise for me as the light has generally good reviews but I’m actually really impressed when comparing to other gun lights I’ve purchased ( stream light, surefire, cloud defense, and others). This thing reaches way out there as you can see in photos. The barn is easily 300 yards.I really like the focused beam with a little over splash to see things around the primary beam. The mounting system seems solid and all the parts and mounting equipment come with the light.I haven’t ran it down yet for battery life so a little bit of an unknown but the olight magnetic charger is such a great solution. This is exactly what I was hoping olight would make one day and it works well for this price point.The light itself is shorter than I expected but a little thicker than I expected so take that and make something funny out of the comment.

Great thrower for the price
Great light for long distance. Although it says 600 meters Throw but I couldn’t positively ID anything passed 200-225m. The beam itself is nice and crisp. Good hotspot and minimal spill. I would recommend to anyone that wanted good quality thrower for good deal. Battery life is not top notch but it works like I need it too

WOW, what a light...for both throw and spill...its a BEAST.
It has awesome throw, I mean really awesome throw for a tactical/weapon light.I wasn't expecting good spill at all, most throwers are not good for that...but close up...the spill lights up anything in your forward general area...what a great bonus.Build quality on the light/switch is great, the locking cap is nice...even my big fingers could unlock it easily as well.I had a minor issue with the mount, while the design is great ( No wiggle at all, easy on/off ) one of the picatinny screws thread was buggered. So I messaged Olight, while the factory mount was out of stock...they had one that was close and would work...sent it immediately. It worked, and will receive the factory mount when they come into stock...Great customer service.I didn't want to send the whole light package back for a little thread issue on just the mount , because my particular light even beat the specified run times by a few minutes on both high and low settings...maybe they all do that...but mine was here to stay.

OLight Is THE Light I Choose For My Duty Lights, WML's, Everything
When I first heard about OLight maybe 6 years ago, I bought a Warrior X to replace the Streamlight I carry on my belt. I don't care what shift you work, carry a good light on your belt. I guarantee you'll find yourself in a dark building without a light sometime. I was so impressed with the Warrior I bought another OLight. Then another. Now I have 4 Warriors (I get every new generation as they get brighter), a Javelot Pro, I don't know how many BALDR RLs, I really don't know how many BALDR Pro R's, and several BALDR Minis. This Javelot TAC 1000 was for my new duty shotgun, a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol, and it is fantastic. I will buy more of these for long guns to replace some of the older BALDR RL lights. My only issue is that I wish they offered varying lengths of cable pressure switches. Every long gun I have the 7" is just too long, you have to figure out what to do with the excess so it not only doesn't get damaged but doesn't look horrible.

Highly recommend
I must say, I am genuinely impressed with the quality of this light. Although I had modest expectations given its price range, I am pleasantly surprised by its performance. I highly recommend this product.
