Surprisingly easy and effective in emergency
Had a small pinhole in an old copper mains water pipe which then grew into a short split in the pipe moving it to try to get 'bandage' on to stop leak (pipe was very close to wall). That wasn't too bad but still slowly leaked so got these. Did job very well, sealing against mains pressure until our plumber got back from holiday! Plumber surprised how well they had worked against pressure. Recommend them to have for standby for small leaks .

Mains Water Pin Hole Leak Solver
A great piece of kit. Clever idea and it solved the problem of a high pressure pin hole leak. Good price too! £8 for a set of 4. Still have 3 in the toolbox. Recommended Seller!!

Too small
Great idea but it was too small. So did not fix the problem.

Works eventually with fiddling
Had to add a piece of rubber tape (can't remember the make but it's stretchy latex type tape) under the pad this came with to stop it dripping. Idea is good but plastic pad needs to be more rubbery to form a good seal. However it did work when combined with the tape so not a fail.

Another little peace of Mind.
Good quality product. Thankfully, I've not had to use this but it's nice to know it's in the toolbox, if required.
