AstroInterior Wall Light, Ceramic, 12 W

Really pleased with the style and illumination from these lights. I have painted them the same colour as the wall and they are very unobtrusive. I have them on a dimmer and this enables me to control the mood from high to low. Highly recommended. Maybe twice as expensive as those bought in DIY store but they are also twice as good quality wise. Highly recommended. I install 2 in my lounge.

Excellent quality. Amount of light is much better than just an uplighter. The quality of the porcelain is very good and you can leave them as supplied, or paint them to match the walls. We have left them white as the finish quality is flawless. Downside is that they could be less expensive and the space for the connector is quite limited. I was lucky to have an electrician on hand and he connected them with crimp tails. Make sure that you have good quality straight walls as light shining parallel to the wall accentuates any flaws.

Very nice design which really made a difference to our wall. Gives it a modern look and if you like you can even paint the light, after pre-treating it. The only thing I would recommend to keep in mind is to check your walls before you buy it. As ours aren't really perfect it looks a bit bumpy here and there. So we use low wattage bulbs and a filter than the light is not to strong straight at the wall.

There is nothing really wrong with the light, but the wiring connection could be better, cheap plastic that pushes the light away from the wall a little. Coupled with the relatively fragile material the shade is made from, it's not possible to really screw the light in tightly... Nice looking but a bit of a case of form over function, some small improvements would make a big difference...

Just breath in these when attaching them to a wall and they’ll shatter. The rear is so thin and brittle - no bracket as is normal - to attach to wall. I tried a glue which worked well but even the minor pressure to push the unit into the wall caused one of these to crack.

Bought four of these wall light they give off more light than I expected but that's no bad thing had a dimmer switch fitted at the same time so if we want a little less light it's not a problem, look very stylish and came at a good price compared to other retailers.

Good Points. The light is solid and ceramic. It gives a good light up and down with a 60W equivalent bulb. We use Philips Hue bulbs and have control remotely via the app and via Amazon Alexa, consequently. No light 'hits you in the face', as the ceramic blocks this and only allows a nice soft light up and down. The ceramic is also paintable so you could match it to your wall paint colour.Bad Points. The ceramic appears fragile, though I never had any problems with it when installing two of them. The units have difficulty fitting flush to the wall due to the connector box. and cabling. If you are careful you can get it just about right. As I was struggling a bit, myself, to get both of the units flush, I resolved this by simply adding a rubber washer on the screws, behind the top of the units. This pushed the light out a bit at the top and helped the bottom go in a bit more - the unit was not 100% flush, but straight. No light leaked from the sides due to the construction of the light.Overall. I would recommend these lights and give it 4 stars. It would have had 5 if it not for the fitting issue, above.

This is a simple but very elegant wall light that fits our requirements perfectly. We ordered three and they look great on our walls adding the perfect amount of mood lighting. We choose to paint ours using two coats of the same emulsion as the wall they sit on and they look great. Please note that these were £50 all but a few pennies in John Lewis at the time of purchase so we saved a significant amount of money.
