Brilliant for marking chargers and cables.
I have so many cables and chargers with different ends and outputs that I cannot remember which belongs to what. I have searched for a way to identify them all for some time now. Sharpies are great but the nibs are just too thick to write on some of this stuff. I had read that these pens can be good but tend to dry out quickly, I thought I would try one anyway. I'm glad I did. It has performed brilliantly. I can write small enough to fit it on the edge of a USB plug and on chargers to identify what it belongs to. It also seems to be very hard wearing but only time will tell. I've never tried it before but I will attempt to update this review at a later date to reflect how it has performed over a period of time.Update- 29 May '19 and just used it again for the first time since writing the review. Worked perfect first time.

Neat Fine Tip (0.8 mm) Acrylic Paint Marker Suitable for Smooth Surfaces
The media could not be loaded. I bought this paint marker for a specific purpose: to mark 1.6 mm diameter dots on the side of a guitar fretboard using a stencil I made by CNC cutting 200 gsm clear acetate sheet. I also tried Humbrol white enamel. The picture and short video clip attached to this review illustrate use of this fine tipped acrylic marker pen to write on a sheet of scrap red gloss acrylic (Perspex) sheet. The paint dries in a minute or two and with care, will not run. This could be very useful for writing on glass or plastic for commercial (e.g. shop windows, menu signs, etc.) or hobby and craft purposes (greetings cards, etc.) where the item might be displayed outdoors or where weathering could occur. Highly recommended and good value for money.

It's my fave , But be mindful it's a potent smell
I've got a lot of pens I use for highlights and adding details to my drawings and colouring books but these are my favourite, I prefer them over posca pens all day long . Quite a strong odor though which doesn't bother me but something to be mindful of

Consistency
Brilliant when a steady flow of ink, but tends to be a bit irratic

Lovely fine tip!
Very good, super fine point, perfect for writing on black plastic plant labels, I am ordering more today! The ink was opaque, shiny, and free-flowing: the point is indeed very fine, and I easily got two lines of text on a smallish 4" plant lable. As per other comments, you need to shake-shake-shake on first use, then you have to gently and patiently pump the nib for a while until the ink starts to flow. I say "gently" to avoid spoiling the fine point. This ink on black plastic looks very stylish indeed.

Recommended....
This pen arrived in the time expected, in a small brown padded envelope. It takes a lot of shaking and pressing down on the first use before the paint begins to flow out of the pen, but once it is flowing, it works well. Seems to be reasonable for what I paid. One thing to bear in mind is that it is very thin liquid and takes a few coats of it to get the "proper" opaque white people are often looking for. However, this suits me fine as it gives me lots of shades of white, from semi-transparent to opaque.

Useless and liable to ruin your work.
Having had this pen for a year, I have found it not just virtually useless, but liable to ruin whatever item it is being used on. The problem is that the paint flow is either inadequate or you get a pool of paint at the place where you are writing. The only way I could get it to write at all was to use a second coloured piece of paper or card and deliberately produce a pool of paint. By dipping the point of the pen in this paint pool, it was possible to produce a short line but the line was not very dense. It was then necessary to continue dipping and writing to produce a very poor result. I gave up on this pen shortly after and have been looking for a replacement but most reviews of similar pens of different makes seem to have problems.UpdateI have recently purchased 2 similar pens also made by Mitsubishi but called Uni Posca. Both are nominal 0.7 mm nibs and both have been excellent so far.The first is Model PC-1MR which is a pin type with a narrow nib in a metal tube and the body is about 10 mm in diameter..The second is Model PC-1M which has a bullet nib and is slightly shorter but is 13 mm in diameter. Both pens write instantly even without shaking after about a week from opening and give a reasonably dense white line. The PC-1M is better for colouring larger areas and although it gave a fine line to start, I suspect the nib will broaden with use.The PC-1MR should continue giving a fine line due to the type of nib but maybe not as dense as the other. As I have only had them for 5 days I cannot be sure how long the ink will last or when or if they will dry up with time but they have worked perfectly so far. When received they are sealed in a thin plastic film to stop drying out.I mainly use them for marking items like power supply units which are invariably black in colour and need to be identified with the item they were supplied with so they are not used with the wrong item. They can also be used to mark keyboards for calculators or computers when some of the letters or numbers have worn away.

Good quality thin line and good 'paint' flow.
When you buy this, you have to consider that this is a 'Paint' pen and not an 'Ink' pen. It is also OIL based and whilst it will 'mark' almost anything, it is NOT a permanent marker. If writing on standard paper, or other porous materials, then this paint pen will produce a fairly weak line due to the surface sucking up the paint. However, as soon as you move onto non-porous paper or other materials such as plastics, glass, metal, etc, then it will give you perfect results!Does take a while to get going when being used for the first time. But be patient - shake repeatedly and press down on the nib slowly and gently. For best results when writing, hold the pen in a more upright position than you would normally. The thickness of the line is very fine (thin) and doubt if you can get much thinner (for this type of pen)!Very pleased - does the job in marking our cable chargers and electrical plugs.
