It is smallish and doesn't have a lot of surface area on the cheeks, but still a decent size for practice. I mostly use water based face paints and noticed that the paints were beading up at first. After applying a thin layer of regular foundation makeup, the paints applied more like they would to actual skin. You can see this a bit in the 1st picture where I missed a spot with foundation. Clean up was super easy using just makeup wipes and an oil based makeup remover for stains. You can see that I applied heavy paint, it left stains, and then cleaned up completely. I've already painted on it 5 times and used colors I know will stain. Every stain has come right off using makeup remover. I will say that it doesn't seem to take shadows very consistently. The 'skin' is like a hard silicone so maybe there's a learning curve to applying them to this 'face'. It also did not take a pencil eyeliner well at all. It looked super waxy and pretty bad. I'm not sure this would be great for beauty makeup practice. It's pretty realistic looking, but the eyes are in a fixed open position, so not a lot of eye lid area for practicing eye makeup imo.

It's nice but kind of sticky

I purchased this to practice face painting. The mount is stable enough but not fantastic. It will wiggle off fairly easily. The face surface is fairly sticky. To help minimize staining, I spray the face with aerosol hairspray before painting then promptly use dawn dish soap to remove the paint. Even so, the head still has some mild staining. It's not enough (yet) that I can't use it, but not sure how many times I can use deep colors like reds and dark blues before it becomes unusable. Even using micellar water and oil did not get rid of the staining.

My 9 year old loves make up and trying to do make up so I bought her this and she loves it practice makes perfect!

This was garbage the makeup does not stay on and the lipstick glides right off like a crayon…also it’s hard to put eyeliner 😣 you can’t really blend

Sooo funny story I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old. I had it wrapped and under the tree when my friend called and said that she was going to take her to a family Christmas gathering and asked could she grab one of the gifts under my tree for her so that she would have something to open. I agreed and wasn't specific on the which gift to grab. My friend happened to grab this one and when it was opened at the gathering, everyone froze, they didn't know what that was and it actually kinda scared everyone even my daughter lol! They called me and after I explained that it was for practicing makeup, it was a HIT! All the kids were playing with it and they all wanted to buy one!!

This is a great product for anyone who is practicing make up however I didn't keep mine bc, I needed a more eyelid space if that makes sense. Fast delivery also

It’s too small, to do makeup around eyes is impossible because there is no enough space.eyelid cannot be closed. Horrible
