This dash cam is fantastic! I decided it was time for an upgrade and I know for sure this was the right and great choice! The packaging was secure and kept everything safe. The camera was very easy to install with the included sticky mounts and the camera lens can be adjusted, left, right, up or down so you can make sure that it gets the perfect angle no matter where it gets installed. I found the menus with all the options very easy to use. The cord that comes with it is very long, so it's easy to hide the wire and route it as wanted without worrying about running out of length. The picture quality and sound quality it picks up is great! The voice commands are pretty cool too and worked just fine when I tried all of them. The screen it has is easy to see and read. Lastly, I have to give major kudos to the 5GHZ WI-FI, when I used the app on my phone it just was speeding fast and downloaded these 120MB larger size videos because of the increased quality in just a few seconds compared to like a minute on my older one with smaller sized videos, a definite time saver. One tip I would suggest is to get a large SD card just to ensure you have plenty of room, I'd say at least 128GB to be extra safe, which compared to a 64GB really isn't even that much more money.

This is my 3rd Rexing Dashcam. It is by far the best. I have a V1 and a V3. The V3 is in my wife's car as she drives people around and it has a rear facing cabin camera also. I purchased this thinking I would give it to my son, but after using it, I am going to keep it for myself. The video quality is excellent - better than my other 2. Picture is crisp and better night vision. The camera is on a very tight swivel ball, and is infinitely adjustable in any direction, allowing you to adjust for misalignment mount. And the mount is really solid, making the picture that much better. This unit has GPS, and the GPS information gets added to the video, making the location indisputable. Very handy if you need proof. The V55 has built in WiFi - 2.4 or 5G. Have not used that yet other than to verify it works. The screen is larger than the other units which makes it easier to see. Add to that voice control for basic functions, and this is quite a package! As for other functions, it also has collision detection so if there is an accident the video is auto-protected. If you have it on a hot line to the fuse box with a smart hardwire kit, the unit record if detects a collision while parked, or tampering. The Micro SD card can be as large as 256GM, so there is ample room for recording. Add on modules allow for a rear facing camera, and a rear car camera. For the money, this is a no brainer. High quality recording, really nice functionality, good build quality, and an 18 month warranty when registered.

For a Rexing V55: I really wanted to like this product, but I just can't.. I can't read the microsd card in my computer, and the app is worse than useless, regularly refusing to connect to the camera. THANK GOD for the very brief notice at the end of all their troubleshooting help pointing me to Ti2Cam app for IOS. This product was Intuitive and connected first time, every time.. The Card Issue - The manual is clear, format the microsd card in the camera. Take it out and mount it in your local computer for bulk access to the files. That doesn't work for me, short research on the internet suggests I'm not the only one. Computer says it's corrupted ExFAT, so format ExFAT in the computer, put it back in camera, camera rejects it and tells me to format it. Wash rinse repeat. So, I'm locked into using the app to manage video files.. The App Issue - The app worked once, for a while.. But then it just wouldn't any more. AT ALL.. EVER. So frustrating. The only thing that makes this camera useful to me is that Ti2Cam DVR app connects easily and lets me manage files.. But why do I need to do so much file management anyway? Voice Command (Enabled) - I left the voice command feature enabled, but didn't actually attempt to use it ever.. I actually just sort of forgot about it.. Leap forward a few weeks and I start to hear these "SHWINNNNG!!" noises on a pretty regular basis. My vehicle is also new to me, so I took me a bit to figure that the noise was coming from the camera and it was randomly triggering the lock video command. That left me with quite a few files I needed to manage, but wait... I can't put it in my laptop!? The app is *&^*&^ (bad word), and just never wants to connect.. And lastly my return period is long past, so, I guess I'll just put up with it.. With voice commands disabled it seems to work just fine at the basic function involved. Anyway, I would not make this purchase again and would not recommend it to my friends. That being said, it takes good video, appears of reasonable quality in physical terms.

Only issue I encountered with installation was that the hardwire kit only comes with mini fuse adapters. I had to buy the proper size adapters from AutoZone and had to change the bullet connectors on the hardwire kit to the standard size used by the new standard fuse adapters I purchased at AutoZone. Once I was able to make those modifications, installation was a breeze. The issue with the hardwire kit was why I couldn't give it 5 stars. The lens of the camera can also be manually adjusted to point in the direction you want. I didn't see this mentioned in any of the specs here on Amazon or the product website. Some people complained that the camera mount was not adjustable, which is true, but being you can adjust the lens direction makes up for that.
