Gold Sink Drain

Ouality seems good. Fits perfect. Pretty easy to install. Seals good with plumbers putty. This model does not have a rubber gasket like some. It is installed the old fashion way. Nothing wrong with that way but you can find models on Amazon that are putty free. This is not one of them.

My old sink drain was fine just looked ugly over the years, replaced my faucet and pipes so figured do it all not just some.. looks fantastic and leak free.. nice chrome worth the money and cheaper than the hardware store. Don’t forget the plumbers putty and you will be ok.

Fits good in the sink. Only problem is after 6 months the black on strainer basket started coming off! I believe because it's just coated. Still fits and works.

Black paint peeled almost completely off after only around 6 months. Very poor quality. Also product has a super visible bright red gasket, when it is supposed to be solid black.... None of the photos or descriptions show this as red, so I was surprised when I opened the box. I could live with the red gasket, but the black paint peeling off means I have to replace this after only 6 months, so I am giving this 1 star and a strong warning, DO NOT BUY!!!!

I see some people confused about installing this. The included rubber gasket and cardboard gasket go under the sink. On the top you need to use plumbers putty to seal it properly. Roll a small ball of plumbers putty (Oatey) out into a long strand then circle it around the underneath of the drain (the part that will touch the sink), then insert the drain and press down. Assemble the items underneath the sink (rubber gasket, cardboard gasket, then screw on the locking nut. The drain looks great and is easy to install. I haven't had any leaks yet. The only thing I'm getting used to is how shallow the drain is. Compared to the standard drains I'm used to seeing, this is pretty shallow. I had a wire mesh strainer insert purchased from a big box store and it no longer fits inside the drain. I'll have to see if I can find a smaller one. Overall great quality and great looking drain. I would recommend this.

Sehr schlechte Qualität. Der Spülbeckeneinsatz ist seit drei Monaten im Einsatz. Die schwarze Farb-Beschichtung löst sich ab. Der Siebeinsatz sitzt sehr wackelig in der Halterung. Der Händler lässt sich über das Amazon-Portal nicht direkt anschreiben... Ich tausche das Produkt nun aus! Null Sterne konnte man hier leider nicht vergeben. Absoluter Fehlkauf.

The threaded section is not deep enough to be installed with a thick fireclay sink, so I had to return it. It's too bad because it was a perfect match to the faucet, and very well made. Thanks for accepting my return.

Not compatible with sink despite product stating it would be appropriate size to fit in sink. Did not open for a while as we were not ready with our renovation and now it's too late to get a refund.
