Powerful but bulky and no smaller container options
heavy duty, with a 10year warranty. however, other than the exorbitant price, there's this: while the Vitamix website shows optional small containers, a closer look reveals these have been withdrawn from circulation for security reasons. and so you are stuck with the two-litre container. a very compelling alternative is the Braun PowerBlend 9 JB9040BK - at £150, and with optional smaller containers it's a steal. To Amazon staff vetting my draft review: I bought my Vitamix from John Lewis.
