The guides are so easy to use hand held or clamped to the material. The results are great!

I neve had Kreg tool that wasn't top quality. If you round over a lot of corners or other things this tool does, this is a great addition to your router accessory collection. Fast and simple operation. The recommended 1.5 inch router bit is a hair short for something as thick as a 2X4.

Works OK from initial testing for occasionally homeowner use. But other reviewers are right that it's really hard to remove the black plastic guides once inserted into the base! Not sure how this made it through product development without someone in design/testing raising their hand to say "hey team maybe we should rethink this, we can do better"

The product is mediocre. My router melted one of the edger from the heat. I contacted kregg and they replace the piece part.

This jig is made very well with a high density polymer plastic, making it easy to assemble and disassemble. Using this piece with a palm router made my cornering and chamfering a breeze. On first use, I did not hold my palm router firmly and the router bit caught the edge pulling the corner plastic out of the jig. If the piece had not popped out I could have potentially severed my finger or cut it when the router grabbed the jig. I asked Kreg Tools if they would sell me a replacement piece so I wouldn’t have to buy the entire kit. To my great surprise they offered to send replacements for the galled plastic pieces to me at no charge! I have never received a service response so generously. Kreg Tools rocked this one!!

I originally ordered this product through Amazon. The listing was provided by a store called "Pattern.". The edge routing set arrived in a severely damaged box. I'm not sure whether to blame Amazon who handled the delivery portion or Pattern. who provided the product. I suspect a bit of both.In any case, my set was missing one of the edge guide pins. I contacted Kreg directly via email asking if they could send me a replacement pin. I received a response within minutes with an apology and a request for my address so they could ship a replacement immediately. I wasn't expecting another full edge guide set but that's what Kreg sent.I own a handful of other Kreg tools and, while often a bit on the expensive side, I've never been disappointed in any of their products so it's usually worth the price. This experience has just cemented my opinion of Kreg, though. They produce high quality tools and they stand by them!

I have other Kreg tools and like them this router guide is well thought out and well made. It comes with several different guides for different shapes and it feels good in your hands to use.

I'm trying to align one of the templates with a square piece of wood, I got it all set up, and for the life of me couldn't figure out out why my trim router kept chewing into the side of the straight edge. Finally I decided to check if they were square, and lo and behold, not a single one in the set was square. WTF? I'm kicking myself because I bought these a year ago but hadn't really had a chance to use them, and now that I need them I realize they're just junk.
