I have just recieved it and it says can not be used with Aquarians with live plants? Anyone else tried it with live plants?
Can you use this with 'tap water conditioner' as they both remove chlorine and detoxify heavy metals?
my tap water is 6.2 i assume this will raise it? also do i still use tap water conditioner with this as the description says it also removes chlorine?
Can you use direct into ro water

Water perameters
This is a very good product for beginners and even the experts to keep water perameters PH at a stable nuteral 7

Effective, But Not a Long-Term Solution for Me
API PROPER pH 7.5 is definitely effective at stabilizing pH levels, and I can see why many aquarists recommend it. However, I've come to believe that using products like this can create a dependency on maintaining perfectly controlled conditions. Over time, it feels like you're locked into continuously buying and using these stabilizers. I've decided to take a more natural approach, and my fish are doing just fine without it. While this product works as advertised, it's not something I want to rely on indefinitely.

Not for us, leaves water cloudy
It makes the water cloudy and we didn't find that it was an effective product for us. We have used another API ph adjuster which we found was much more effective for our tank and it doesn't cause the water to cloud. It's the fact that this is a powder product that doesn't seem to dissolve properly in the water thus leaving it cloudy.

Perfect, solved our fish loss problem
Our waters pH from the tap is at the highest range on the test kits. At the time we were new to fish keeping and so we had problems with ammonia and nitrite, the additives we used lowered the pH to the lower range, but did not remain constant so it fluctuated from high to low, which when reading up on pH levels was very bad for the fish. From our research for our fish it seemed that a lower pH would be better for them, and to maintain it. This product has done just that, and remains constant at the 6.5 level between water changes which we do once a month and with that water change as per the instructions we add a little more.We had put off buying it for a long time because when reading up on pH it seemed difficult to maintain and could be more harmful to the fish if the levels did not maintain themselves and many believed it best to leave well alone, but we had suffered far too many fish losses and was desperate to try and get the tank into balance to keep the remaining fish alive and there is no doubt in our minds that using this product was the turning point for us, and we haven't had any more fish losses since using it, in fact the opposite we now have 25 babies born in the tank.

Didn't quite reach the 7.0
I was hoping that this would raise the ph level of my water to 7.0 but it never got past 6.8 with this product. It's better than the 6.4 it was registering at without this product but I was hoping it would do as it said on the tub. May try the next ph level up product to see if it gets over that 7.0ph level but ideally I didn't want my tank too far above this.
