Quality spacious toolbox for DIY tasks
Having kept various tools and pieces of DIY equipment scattered in various boxes and cupboards around the home, it was good to at last bring them all together in one place by using this excellent and good value Stanley branded toolbox.I have a bit of a lack of storage space in my house, no garden to speak of and no shed so I have found this large capacity toolbox made of sturdy plastic perfect for my needs. As well as having enough space for all of the usual tools and various other DIY supplies, it stacks well and fits very nicely in my understairs cupboard. The unit has three tiers; two deep boxes which are excellent for accommodating power tools (including their batteries and chargers) and other larger items and a middle tray that can hold other tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, spanners and so on. The three boxes are held together by good quality plastic latches and the lid of the top box has decent metal latches; these all feel robust and snap into place in a satisfying way. There are also a couple of flip top compartments on top of the toolbox which you can fit smaller tools or fixings in.Once everything is stowed nicely in the toolbox, it can be pretty heavy but the extendable handle and large, robust wheels make it easy to manoeuvre your equipment about. The top box has a padlock loop built in which could deter casual theft but perhaps not anything more serious. The bottom two tiers have no such security measure but to be honest, I’m not that convinced that locks on these types of toolboxes are really that effective anyway.I’m not personally bothered about the security of this product as I keep it indoors anyway but if you need a secure setup for your toolkit perhaps another product might suit you better. I would also say that while this toolbox is solid enough for use in and around the home, again, for professional use a heavier duty option might be better.Overall, I’m really pleased with this product. It is a pretty robust toolbox with plenty of space, is portable and is a good price for the quality.

Decent size and ideal for DIY'ers
I've manged to fit so much stuff in this box...2 impact drivers and two drill/drivers along with 3 chargers in the base, the middle tool tray has all my wrenches, sockets, hammers, spanners, screwdrivers, torque wrench etc and in the top there's a rotary drill, small car battery charger, cased gas soldering iron, drill bits, a box of sanding discs and so on. The little sections on either side of the top box has space for odd bits and pieces. It's heavy obviously so being able to wheel it around is handy. Somebody complained about it being impossible to use like a trolley, I suspect they put the top section on back to front and/or maybe didn't lock the handle in place?! If you get it the right way round and ensure the larger of the two handles is locked with the smaller carry handle it works perfectly well. It might be a struggle if you're very tall but for the average height person it's fine. A worthwhile space saving and convenient purchase for me that appears plenty strong enough.

Great value for money
Got this for my better half to move her stock to and from trade shows. She can fit a load of her stock in this and when fully loaded, it weighs a lot. The wheels and locking handle make it easy to move fully loaded. It's really useful that it separates into 3 separate sections as well. The only slight issue we had is that one of the latches for fastening the sections together seems to come off every time it's opened. It's not a huge issue for us though as it's straightforward to reattach and it's only used periodically. I could see this being an issue if it was being used daily as this may become annoying though. Otherwise, this is a great product - sturdy, easy to use amd great value for money. Given the weight she puts in it, I have no doubt it would stand up well loaded up with tools, maybe not for tradespeople but certainly for DIYers.

Great tool box
Great item, big enough for all my tools and they can be stored together instead of all over the place. Was a problem with original order as wrong item sent, but this was quickly rectified and proper item received next day.

Good size
Good quality as expected from a company like Stanley, really good price compared to similar items listed. Bigger than I expected, bought for storing cordless power tools and everything fitted in. Has a bracket for adding a padlock but is never going to be very secure as it’s mainly made from plastic. Overall for the price it’s a very good tool box and the large wheels make it very portable. Recommended.

Great stackable tool box.
This Stanley stackable tool box is great and for the size of it you can get a great deal of tools inside it. I use the bottom box (one with wheels) to store my battery power tools along with chargers, I have managed to fit in three different power tools and chargers for all three, the next box up I use for everyday tools, spanner’s, sockets, screwdrivers etc. And then the top box is used for larger items such as WD40 spray, larger hand tools etc.I live in an apartment and storage space is limited but this fit lovely down the side of my wash hand basin and is completely out of the way, I have it covered by an old towel to stop moisture getting into the tools themselves, this works a treat.Would I recommend this stackable tool box???? You bet your bottom dollar I would, holds loads and is sturdy even though it’s made from blown plastic.
